I came in on a Tuesday afternoon and I was quickly taken to the back massage area which was nice. Unfortunately when I was taken back I waited for nearly 15 minutes. Then during the beginning of the massage the two women doing me and my friend kept obnoxiously laughing and talking. I thought they would stop on their own, but they continued until I requested the woman focus more on my shoulders. Prior, the woman was focused more on talking and less on the massage. Then after I had addressed the talking it was almost as it made the woman angry, she started massaging my back super rough with her elbow. I understand that’s one of the techniques, but the entire time she was pressing her elbow into my back as hard as possible. Also there was a little boy right outside the room who clearly was bored and needed to be at school or a daycare. He kept laughing and screaming and the woman had to keep going outside to correct him. It felt like I only got 30 minutes of my hour massage because the women kept leaving out the room. No professional techniques used. The only thing professional about the whole experience was the wonderful customer service from the lady at the door. I do not think these people went to any type of massage school for formal training. There was no standard draping technique used so all of my bare necessities were left exposed (uncomfortable). Basic effleurage techniques were not used either. It felt like abuse more than a massage. I left feeling more uncomfortable than when I arrived.
