Cohoes — Local services in Elizabeth

I usually shopped in this place, I really liked the store, but then they changed cashiers or let say they have less cashiers, one day I wanted I pair of shoes but there was no tag in them, when I was with the cashier (unfortunately I didn’t know her name, but it’s a very nasty one) she started to GUESS the price! I told her I can’t pay something that you are guessing the price, and she started to insulting me saying that I didn’t have the right to talk to her like that, and she literally said “I won’t allow you to pay your things”… things that I spent around two hours to collect them, I asked for the manager and there was NO MANAGER and then a woman approached supposedly the manager just to say “I can’t take sides because I wasn’t here” then the cashier started to say that I didn’t want to pay the shoes because they were TOO expensive for me to pay! Well, I thought this was just a bad day, I was in the mall once again, I entered this place again, and when I was paying I just asked “what is my total” and the guy started to yell at me saying “stop stop the machine is not showing yet you have to wait oh my god she so rude she so rude” and the supposedly manager was there again folding some clothes and she just looked at me like “you again” enough! It looks like discrimination! I’ll never be in this...

My rate is NEGATIVE 0. Worst store ever. No manager to report a problem. After a long line of 3 hours to exchange two items bought last week, the cashier told me that can not exchange the items because it was an undergarment and they do not accept return or exchange after any undergarment is taken out of the store. I said to the cashier that when I bought the items I was never informed that the items was not returnable. They tried to say that I wore the items and I showed them the several tags attached to the items. No way that an undergarment with 5 different tags still attached to it can be worn. I left the cashier area and talked to one of the supervisors who agreed to exchange the black item but not the white one because she said it was dirty. I explained that when I got the item it was like that. I do not recommend this store. Don’t go to that store. Don’t spend your money on the store. Lack of service and very poor attitude for the customer. Only 3 cashiers open and a line of around 70 customers waiting to pay. This store should be...

Spent a few days in New York with my family. Enjoyed my stay in New York immensely. Went to Jersey Gardens shopping mall today shopping. An enjoyable experience until I reached Cohoes. Spent one and a half hours in a queue. 13 checkouts available. On arrival at the checkout section there were approx 50 people in the queue. Three checkouts in operation. Almost immediately one checkout closed. I was not in a hurry but there were elderly and parents with young children in the queue which appeared distressing for them. The man in front of me expressed his displeasure towards the staff loudly which resulted in the third checkout being reopened. A while later I reached a checkout where I encountered a member of staff texting on a mobile phone. Cohoes was a very unacceptable experience and I felt for the parents, children and elderly in the premises. I am leaving New York to return home with a recommendation that Cohoes should be avoided if you are visiting Jersey...
