Clipper's Canine Cafe — Local services in Ellicott City

I wish I could give Clipper's Canine Cafe more than 5 stars! Had my first visit here this morning and my pup and I cannot wait to come back!!! Upon entering, we were instantly greeted by an employee (I wish I had asked their name so I could properly give them a shoutout in this post, but they had reddish hair and rainbow glasses.) They were SUPER friendly and very helpful. Gave my pup a Bare Bites Beef Liver treat (and asked before giving her a treat, which I really appreciated too!) Clipper's carries our somewhat-hard-to-find kibble (VeRus pet foods) as well as some other premium brands that I noticed. I can't believe I haven't reviewed this locally-owned shop yet! I love it here - it's hands-down my favorite place to shop for my dog. They have a wealth of great natural products and cute toys, outerwear, bedding, etc. I've never had anything but amazing service here, and Kate is so knowledgeable about pets and ready to answer any questions you might have. My heart broke when they closed down after the last flood that ravaged Old Ellicott City, and I was so happy they were among those that chose to reopen, especially in a safer location. Please shop locally and keep these gals open - they truly deserve your business, and you won't want to shop anywhere else once...

Kate is one of the nicest, most passionate people that I have ever met. Her love of animals shows with every customer that enters her store. I was having an issue with my cat that I had him to the vet on multiple occassions to no avail. She suggested I try something that took care of the problem right away! The ONLY problem with her current location is her rude neighbors that feel it is ok to block her entrance and take her parking. I am sure they would not like her to have Pit Bull Adopt-a-Pallooza during one of thier events that impeded thier customers. Common courtesy goes along way!
