Brownfield's in Estes Park, Colorado is an outstanding store with very good quality clothing, especially outdoor clothing, gear, as well as gift items and souvenirs. Our family first began doing business with Brownfield's twenty years ago when we spent a week in Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Brownfield's was highly recommended to us by friends, who had been going to Estes Park since the early 1960s, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visits to the store, which were everyday that we were there. Since that time, we have visited Estes Park one more time, and we have been ordering clothing, particularly sweatshirts, from Brownfield's. Once again, the quality is very good, and the prices are quite reasonable. In addition, the staff is very cordial and knowledgeable, and they are a wonderful resource for travelers to receive valuable information regarding Rocky Mountain National Park, excellent restaurants, as well as trips near the Estes Park area. What breath of fresh air to know there are still people who understand the concept of supply and demand! If you want to know how to run a business, Brownfields is “the city on the hill.” They exemplify great prices, quality products and more importantly customer service excellence! I should mention they had a blend of Christian music playing along with other edifying secular music. They also had several tee shirts and hoodies with a fusion of the Estes Park/RMNP experience and Christian message. Simply AWESOME! I believe we bought 5 QUALITY tee shirts, a hoodies, a raincoat hoodie and a few other items for only $121!!!! Most of the other businesses in Estes Park shopping district are nothing but greedy tourists traps with little understanding how to successfully run a business. At Brownfield’s, business is booming!! Brownfield's has long been an Estes Park tradition, but for our family and friends a visit to Brownfield's has also become a vacation tradition! Being part-time residents, we have a lot of visitors and it only takes one trip to Brownfield's for them to understand that the prices, selection, service and staff are the best in town! After that, no one wants to leave Estes Park before they stop in at Brownfield's! The great merchandise and friendly staff will insure that everyone will leave from their vacation with the memory of a wonderful shopping experience!
