I can’t say enough good things about my experience shopping for an engagement ring at Newtwist. After a couple of very negative attempts at working with some of the larger jewelers in town we were so relieved to find Newtwist. The other jewelers in town were constantly trying to upsell us, came across as very judgmental & then wouldn’t even return our calls after they had taken family heirloom jewels to evaluate for possibly being included in the ring. The wonderful employees of Newtwist on the other hand really listened to what we were looking for & seemed to take a genuine interest in us & our story. We ended up selecting a beautiful Oasis ring from the designer Misa. The ring was made especially for us & even arrived in Eugene a couple weeks earlier than expected which really helped my surprise factor. My fiancé & I could not be happier. Special thanks to Shoshanah who was extra helpful & always recognized me when I came into the store. She even sent a very sweet follow up package a couple weeks later. I am super happy with the service I received from New Twist. Being on the opposite coast, I had to check that the store was real and not a scam bc the price for the bracelets I wanted was super reasonable. When my order didn’t come, I was concerned, and I contacted them. It was my fault. I’d recently moved and put my old zip code, and we were unsure of what was going to happen. I checked the post office to no avail, and basically wrote the bracelets off. I didn’t expect anything from New Twist bc it was my error, but they continued checked in on me from time to time over the next month, which I truly appreciated. Christmas came and went, and I got a call that they’d finally been returned to them. They checked for the correct address and sent them right back out to me. I went in to New Twist last week to buy a couple of gifts and had an amazing shopping experience. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt like I was the most important person in the world. I didn't get the sense that the staff were rushed or that making a sale was their priority. I genuinely felt that they wanted to ensure that I felt valued and taken care of. I had a wonderful time looking at all of the ornaments and merchandise in the store and found the prices to be very reasonable. I'm always impressed by the beautiful and unique items they find for the store. I found myself dawdling after I had completed my purchase because I was having such a nice time in the store and I wasn't ready to go back to all of my responsibilities.
