Worst Boot Barn Location in DFW!
These employees(if your even able to find one) arent familiar at all with the brands they sell. The boot selection is very bad, boots fall off the shelf and they have multiple of the same boot displayed so you only have like 2 brands. The jean selection is laughable, not organized at all and the jean your looking for is in 10 different spots. Hats aren't even respected and all crunched together so the felt is destroyed before you buy it. Store is employed by kids without any knowledge or rodeo or western wear. Its a sad place. Have been a loyal boot barn customer and ex employee for over 8 years and i cant bring myself to go anymore. Very dissappinting experience. Cavenders is less than a 20 min drive in Hurst and way more worth it than this place. At least they know what they sell and have a...
Read moreThis store is well designed and they have a good selection of apparel accessories and (most importantly) boots. The boot prices are pretty good and you can choose from several top brands (Justin, Ariat). The company has a fairly generous rewards program and seems to be open later (9 pm most weeknights currently). They were also running a promotion to support the troops when I was there 👍👍.
The 3 stars at this location is due to the staff. There were 3 or 4 employees there and despite the fact that was clearly in need of input, none of them went out of their way to help. I mentioned a few times this was my first pair of cowboy boots and didn't know what to look for / how they should fit / etc. Not expecting to be entertained, but a little effort / personality...

I was looking forward to buying a Stetson to wear last night. I was helped by the STORE MANAGER who was an absolute tragic excuse of someone who works in retail. I asked about sizing, ect - she said “put it on your head & if it falls off, it’s too big.” I picked out the hat after picking through several stacks ($350 hats just thrown on a wall!!) & asked if she could fit it and steam. She was absolutely clueless on the process and had no idea when the next employee would be in. This lady was more focused on adding on sponges for the hat than selling the actual hat itself.
My husband had the best shopping experience at Cavenders in Hurst & we dropped another $400 this morning. I work in retail so appreciate challenges but this was next...
