Update: they continued to try & bully me through email, saying I owed them money. All emails shows different amounts .. last email I got from them showed a zero balance.
Where do I even start. I lived on the bottom floor 2/2 1 car garage , I constantly had bugs coming in my apartment, rats in the garage (they ate my garbage (through the holes in my trash can)(that I did not make) and left rat poop and pee on my rug I had to throw away), If you have to leave early they will tell you, you have to sign a early termination addendum (which is no where to be found in the contract agreement you sign before moving in) which states you will pay 2 months of rent “fee” + another 60 days in rent. So if you were me it would have been around $8000, not only is that not in my signed contract, it’s not reasonable.
IF YOU DARE email them to be clear on what you are paying for they will run around the answer, send you to someone else, then to someone else on and on.. to keep you confused. I just wanted to know where in the contract it says I had to pay this amount, after I told them repeatedly I would continue to pay rent until they found a renter to rent my apt. I literally moved out of state for work.
I was called from Kensington 12/11(Monday)(I moved out on 12/10 Sunday ) to see when I was returning my keys, I told them that day, I asked if they wanted to do a walk through with me before I handed the keys over, (someone in the background told the office lady Annette “No”) so she told me no. Then shortly after got an email saying if I wanted to do a walk through let them know.. like they didn’t just tell me “No”. When I brought my keys to Annette I asked her if they wanted to do a walk through was was told “Nope” again! They are very silly up here y’all. I left this apartment clean, and it smelled very nice (not like it was when I moved in it smelled so bad), i have been charged for damages I have not done.
I forgot to mention, they say these apartments are renovated but the people renovating them are doing the bare minimum, ie, not prepping the cabinets for paint, so the paint scraps right off… but they charge you for it..
The vanity area is calked to high heaven… anyways I wouldn’t recommend renting in this place because the management seems to be all over the place and ran very poorly. They didn’t even call to make sure I made the amount of money I said I do on my paperwork (I called my previous employer to verify) or my references, seems like the only thing they pull is a credit check and background check and you are good to go. Oh they never answer the phone when you call. Literally NEVER.
I’d post pictures but this review came from IRT and will not give me the option to add them....

Under new on site community management. Tracy and crew are rockstars and defuses any situations that arise with professionalism and quickness.
We have lived here a year and the last few months have been significantly better under the new office staff.
There are still tenants living here that were allowed in by previous management and should not only be evicted but probably have warrants for their arrest and should be in jail.
In time these situations will be flushed out. All complexes go through these rough patches. I have the utmost faith that this new crew will continue to raise the bar.
At this point I'd recommend if you're looking in the area to stop on by and chat with the office staff. Great location and very nice upgraded units.
PREVIOUS POST UNDER OLD MANAGEMENT:
Overpriced and way over rated. We currently live here and UNBELIEVABLE is the first word that comes to mind. The best and ONLY thing this place as going is the maintenance staff is quick to respond and decently nice. They allow riff raff to move in with little or no background checks and then have the nerve to charge over $2000 a month in rent. The parking as with many apartments is the biggest issue along side the disconnection from the managing onsite staff. Steadfast Management is a nationwide property ownership/management group and they do not have a good reputation in the industry to put it nicely. We are hoping a marketing or VP in the Corporate or Regional office in Irvine CA sees this and finds a way to get in touch with us. We have seen and witnessed domestic violence in the parking lots, dangerous breed dogs left off the lease or being walked by a 5 year old, I personally have been threatened by a neighbor after confronting them about the loud music and parking situation. I have documented 25 maintenance issues in 60 days time of moving in. We have people living in the complex that are not on leases and all of this has been brought to the attention of the management. Always the same MO, we are looking into it and then nothing is done. Stay far away as between the dangers to your LIFE, the place is way over rated and over priced to say the least. Someone in a VP Role in Irvine CA come on and stop by, I will happily show you security camera footage of the drama that is called Kensington by...
Read moreI will give zero stars if I could. Just know that I moved in 12 15, 2023 We started off with multiple problems, such as roaches , painted tubs, Mold under the sinks, Molding all of the bathrooms and including the vents. Called maintenance multiple times just for them to paint over the mold paint tubs again. The trash valet never comes and then they charge you $50 because they missed it on top of the $30 that they already charge you for the valet . The freezer had Mold in the ice maker . There’s extreme water damage in the garage. By the way we had a two-story so the water from the second story was leaking in and caved in the garage. The houses that they have outside for the water, the kids playing it because they refuse to open the pool for them. And also, those water charges go straight to you costing a lot. The Office employees are just as worse . Anita And Gabby are the worst people to work with. Gabby gave me the hardest time when I was trying to leave and Anita gave me the hardest time when trying to arrive . When I brought the attention of roaches in my apartment, she said well I don’t have them so that is your problem .They bang on your door at 7 AM in the morning. Just because they misread a paper and gave out wrong keys. Now that I’ve moved out December 15 of 2024 They are now trying to charge me $1700 for the painted tub peeling. And also maintenance fees. I’ve tried to get in contact with them multiple times and now they’re just trying to charge our credit. The phone number on the website doesn’t work. There’s so many things wrong with this apartment complex. I highly recommend that you do not go. There was always something with garage, keys, mail, keys, and even house keys being lost under the supervision of Anita And she isn’t even a manager. The dishwasher held water at the bottom of it causing mold. The paint in the tub was clearly already peeled before we moved in. And you can see that they painted over the water damage with white in the garage. The only thing that I will not be showing, is the children turning our water on As they refused to open the pool. That we pay for all year round. Trust me yes I do...
