So, for starters I hate to have to give this place 4 stars. The reason for that is they do not accept credit/debit cards. I do not carry cash (nor do most others nowadays) and therefore couldn't make a purchase. I went to the closest ATM inside the nearby hotel and they charged $3.95 to make a withdrawl! I was not going to pay $4.00 to get money for a $17 purchase. That is the real magic act....making my money disappear!
Now I will say, the gentleman working there is what makes that place cool. He had fantastic magic tricks that kept us entertained and laughing while we were there. He was smooth, professional and very witty. Because of him and the gag gifts they sell, they are definitely worth the stop if you are out shopping. Just be sure to bring cash with you until they get with the times and use a square or get set...
Read moreOkay, maybe I'm prejudiced, since Barry's my brother. But we always have a great time when we visit Barry at any magic shop. He's worked at so many that I can't remember them all. I know this was "the last one". He worked here for a couple of years and then bought the shop!

Barry is an awesome magician and took the time to show us a few tricks. I was also able to snag a memoir he wrote (that he signed for me!). Wonderfully well written and heart tugging.
