I came to this store to purchase a women's coat because I'm new to Fargo and didn't have a good enough coat. I haven't been to a Kohl's in probably 8 years because I despise that they get involved in politics. But I came because they were one of the only stores open until 9pm and I wanted a coat before the snow storm. Upon entering I asked a store associate where the women's coats were located and she directed me to an area with no women's coats. So I was stuck looking around trying to find them. They didn't have an actual section of women's coats even though temperatures have been primarily in the 20's the past two weeks and it's clearly still Winter here. Instead they had a large selection of Spring clothing... I've lived all over the US and while there are plenty of cities and states who are actually experiencing a beautiful and warming Spring right now, this state is not one of them. Why would anybody want to buy clothes for a season they cannot wear them in? The manager of this store is clearly inept since there was virtually no selection of Winter clothes except for the undesireables left in the clearance section. The athletic area ended up having a very small and overpriced selection of women's coats. Needless-to-say, I will continue to avoid shopping at Kohl's stores. Their clothing does not coordinate with the existing season for the location apparently, I'm not a fan of the style of their clothes, which are all ridiculously overpriced for the quality. On top of that, at the corporate level they get involved in politics, which is unacceptable. Well, after this experience I'm saying goodbye to all Kohl's stores. And I definitely would not recommend them. Ross, Marshall's, Target, Old Navy, and numerous other stores, have better pricing and seasonally appropriate clothing of the...
Read moreThis organization are straight up scam artists. We bought some clothing for our children for a wedding in August. Not knowing exactly what size they needed we bought a few different sizes for them to try on. What we purchased didn't work and we went a different direction. Less that a week later, I went back to Kohl's in Fargo to return the clothing we had purchased. They processed me a refund, handed me my receipt and I went out to my vehicle. When I reviewed the receipt in my car, I noticed i did not receive a full refund for the items I had purchased. I went back inside to customer service and they informed me it was due to their company policy that because Kohl's cash was issued, that amount was subtracted from the total. What? I didn't redeem the Kohls cash they issued, I didn't want the Kohl's cash they issued. I wanted a refund of 100% of what I paid. No tags were removed, everything was just as it was the day I bought. The customer service agent, while friendly was unable to assist me. She just kept saying that she didn't agree with the policy but it was the way it was and there was nothing she could do. This company and their Kohl's cash are a scam, if your purchase something and try to return it they will not issue a full refund. They will give you a refund and not even explain what is happening. BE AWARE! I will be cancelling my Kohls card and never stepping foot in this store again. They lost a lifelong...
Read moreI despise shopping! :P lol So saying that, it's quite amazing that I'm leaving a 5 Star Review for Kohl's. -Location: Excellent, lots of other stores and restaurants nearby. -Prices: Very Affordable! :) -Product: Varied in size, color, and selection! -Pandemic response: SUPERIOR! I was amazed at how smooth their return system is! And they didn't judge me for having to come back multiple times, due to the fitting rooms being closed due to Pandemic concerns, so finding the correct size was a bit lengthier process. -Staff: Polite, efficient, quick, and delightful! Especially impressed with kindness of staff. My mom didn't teach me how shop for bras (or much of anything really), so I'm still having moments where I have to learn something that's odd for someone my age to need to learn. So I was at Kohl's for HOURS looking up bra types, materials, sizes, etc. on my phone, trying to figure out how to shop for a comfortable bra for myself. Staff didn't judge, were very understanding (even the men on staff!), and I felt safe during my shopping experience to learn, shop, and just enjoy finally marking off the last few things on "What My Mom Didn't Teach Me" list. I'd definitely recommend Kohl's!
