Went in earlier because I was browsing for an outfit for Easter, and I was immediately greeted with “y’all know what yall looking for today?” from an older gentleman working. No “hi”, no “hello”, no “welcome in, today, how can u help you?” On one of the busiest holidays for suit shopping?? Wild.

Ignoring that, as I understand how commission in retail works, I simply explained that I was just looking at the moment, as I wasn’t even fully into the store just yet, to see what they offered. Nevertheless, as I started looking at the jackets he walked away only to return with “please stop touching the jackets.” Like, what? Who shops without using both eyes and touch to access a potential purchase?

Offended twice within 2 minutes, I immediately left out.

This was and is unacceptable on all levels relating to retail, business and the overall shopping experience. I also will be calling the BBB, to share with them my experience.

The older representative did not make me feel welcomed, valued, or like patronizing a business that in so many words stereotyped me, and did not WANT my business.

I guess I should’ve and could’ve worked with the other guy, but if this was how I was greeted from the “brother” working, I definitely wasn’t about to take that risk on the other non black behind the counter. I would not EVER recommend, nor return to patronize this business.

Although I could not find my size for the shirt I needed the customer service here was top tier. The gentleman was patient with me while helping me find a bow tie and the right shirt for my event. Although I was unsure about what look I was going for, the gentle man was kind and gave me great suggestions. We've shopped here several times and have never had the terrible service we had today. The owner is a nice man with great customer service skills. Don't go in there when the lady is in there. She's nasty and very short. There was a gentleman in there that she knew and was socializing with the entire time we were in the store. We had to wait for him to leave the store in order to get service. Horrible...
