Panera Bread — Restaurant in Maryland

Best Place To Work Remote. Period. I have tried different places to stay all day and get my work done. It's either a weird variety of food so I end up not getting what I would really want to eat, it's this big meal that is greasy so I can't eat it later for leftovers when it's cold, the environment is super loud, there's no outlet for my laptop, it's cold, the wifi is shotty. This is none of that.

With the Sip Club, I had unlimited coffee, soda, water, etc. I got a variety of food for breakfast, lunch, and dessert. The booths are more private with tall backs and most booths have outlets under the bench for easy access. The wifi was solid! I was able to watch a show in the background while I worked! The entire place was clean including the bathroom. The music was chill, hype at times, but not loud and overwhelming. And I wasn't getting any death stares from workers to get up. I was there a loooonnnng time on Saturday, the staff here was friendly and I didn't feel that "get out" vibe. I got so much done.

I don't like to write reviews, but before I only came in for my Sip Club drink and bounced. Maybe a meal but not usually. After today, I will definitely be returning to work and getting multiple meals. I had a tea in the morning, a You Pick Two that I split into two smaller meals (I don't like big portions at once), so I got a warm hearty chilli with bread for lunch when I was a little cold and later ate my Mediterranean salad later. Both so good! Had my hot coffee and cold sodas to keep me alert. Only thing I didn't like was my kitchen sink cookie, and that was a personal preference thing. I tried it and I just realized I do not like my cookies like that.

Great experience. 10/10 would recommend. I also believe the morning crew set a great tone for the rest of the day. I am not sure I would feel the same way if not....

I went into Panera Bread prior to their 9pm closing time. My 4 year son was hungry and wanted some mac and cheese. I waited a few minutes for a representative to help me and when she reached the counter, she was told by another associate not to help me because Panera Bread was closed. I thought maybe I had made a mistake because the entry door was still open, the register was open and customers were waiting on their orders and I had been asked how may we help you. Subsequently, I quickly checked my phone and it was 9pm on the dot. I am very disappointed in the service I received and I would have liked to provide my toddler with a hot meal, after coming off the road from a long road trip, but on this memorial day I was adamantly denied that opportunity from Panera Bread. If I could give Panera less than 1 star I would have done so and if you have a choice of other establishments in the Glen Burnie area you should make that alternative choice. Considering many food establishments serve the same food, we pay for customer service and at this location there appears to be a need for more training or organizational changes. Had the worst experience at this Panera and makes me not even want to patronize other establishments at this point if this is the kind of people they hire. I attempted to grab a quick lunch before my meeting, & that didn’t happen at all. The staff moved with no urgency and didn’t have proper care for their hands or heads for a food establishment. I finally received my sandwich, which I should’ve took a photo of, and it was beyond sloppy, not something I would feed anyone. I attempted to show Matthew, one of the managers, who apparently just walked in the door.

He didn’t even greet me, apologize, or address the issue at hand. I would dare to say if you’re a black patron of this restaurant m, to rethink this location all together. He was very nasty with his attitude, snobby, & had not one care in the world as the other employees looked on as if this was normal. I hope that he got what he needed that day. As a manager of a million dollar establishment, I would never hire him on my worst day.
