My husband and I went to this location for the first time on July 14th, trying to find a wet food for our rescue kitten because he has been on a full dry food diet and we wanted to treat him, we’ve tried multiple kinds of wet foods and he will not touch them. So we were hoping that maybe a more upscale wet food might be able to entice him enough. We were thinking that talking to a worker would be fine and it was not. I don’t remember her name but she made my husband and I feel so shamed and she judged us very poorly because we were feeding our kitten dry food since “its full of corn and wheat” and it’s “[our] fault he would not eat wet food” even though we’ve tried all kinds of wet food for him removing the dry food, etc. We felt like crap leaving the store because that worker felt like it was her job to treat us poorly for being a first time cat owner and trying to learn how to make his life more enjoyable by trying to add other kinds of food. This was all due to saying that the kitten is eating purina liveclear due to my allergies and that this is the only way my family can have a cat.
We will most likely never be coming back to this store...

He’s been having some allergy and skin issues lately, and nothing I’ve tried has helped so far. Luckily, there was a young gentleman there named Branigan who was absolutely phenomenal and listened so carefully to my needs and had answers for every question I asked. He gave me recommendations for what had worked for his dog personally. Fast forward to bath time for my little side kick, and ALL of the products Branigan had recommended made my fur baby so comfortable, so cozy and actually gave him so much relief! Even though they were about to close in 20 minutes as I rushed in just to grab a few things, he didn’t make us feel rushed at all! They don’t make many employees like him these days, so I hope Hollywood Feed knows what they have with him! We will DEFINITELY be...
Read moreOutstanding staff interraction and highly-personable customer service. This is the kind of store that today's big-box "supermarkets" and "malls" so sorely often lack. If you want "just pet food" (and mostly junky, low-quality pet food, at that), go to Walmart or the grocery store. If you want a place where you can not only buy dog/cat food, but also bring along your pet, as well as always have someone there to offer you guidance or recommendations, then THIS is the place. Not to mention, they carry a large selection of higher-quality/niche foods and other pet-related items that cannot be found in the "pet aisle" of just any other store. Not even at a local "Petsmart." It's a community...
