Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Flowood

If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. My husband and I have 5 children and we frequent this location often. Our kids love it here, and they have always been great to us. Until today. We came in and paid for our food. We started looking for a table and there are none available. But they had a large area to the right that was sectioned off with a table, but an employee was sitting in the area. We grabbed a booth at the edge of the blocked off area after looking around for another table. After sitting down the owner told us that we could not sit over there and told us to sit our family of 7 at a 4 seater table. We questioned him and said we had 7 people and his response was “well you can’t sit over here” .. I told my husband just to get a refund and the owner said “that’s fine go over there and get it.” The rudeness was mind blowing. There was no professionalism whatsoever to this guy. A simple “I’m sorry this area is closed, let me see what I can do to sit your family somewhere else” would have gone a LONG way. We will never return. They had no issues taking our money coming in the door, but when they couldn’t sit us they had no issues telling us to leave. Professionalism goes a long way .. Lack of professionalism goes...

I had a very nice experience at Cici’s tonight! I am so pleased at the customer service at this location. I came in with a gift card but for some reason it was saying I had a zero balance, I had my receipt of purchasing the gift card so Jose told me to go ahead and eat and he would figure it out. He later came and told me there was an issue with the barcode and gave me a new card. When I asked if he took the cost of my dinner off he told me no that he took care of it. That truly made my night ! THANK YOU JOSE! Also AMANDA is who is the shift leader, was such a gem! She is a hard worker and so kind to the customers. I witnessed a customer drop his plate on the ground and she rushed over to help him pick up the mess and I told her thank you for having such a positive attitude as it’s rare to find people who have a good attitude in the service industry these days ! This location seemed to have a smaller buffet than other Cici's I've been to. Seating area was huge compared to the buffet. Lots of kids... Screaming kids. Price seems to have increased, I thought it used to be $5 and some change. Me and my girlfriend cost over $20. Pretty sure it was because we got drinks. For that price I'd rather go to a better restaurant. Pizza itself is what you'd expect from buffet pizza. You're better off getting a California pizza kitchen frozen pizza. It would cost less and taste better. Still trying to understand why there's a salad bar... You know that's not why people are there. There were some flatbread pizzas which were a notch above the regular ones. Sauces for the pastas were very watered down. It's also sad when I don't get my dessert pizza. I suppose if you don't get a drink it's a good deal. With a drink just pass. I don't know personally I think unfiltered tap water can only increase the heartburn or other stomach problems this...
