After being told by my now dismissed cellular provider of 12 years, apple retail store located in the renaissance @ colony park in Madison, MS and apple care' SUPPORT that it had water damage even when I begged to differ, and if it were repaired by their team nothing would be salvageable and would be rather pricey/ @ a cost to me, when knowing they were all privy of the terms and conditions of my manufactures warranty. .. I listened to my son took it to this wonderful corporation/franchise and let me tell you something!!!! THE STAFF :::))) is a diverse group of true human beings, not sitting behind lavished desks in suits, ties, skirts or uniforms with meaningless titles, but are genuine,empathetic, collaboratively team players that "GET IT DONE" also they are listeners that have the true CAPABILITIES of knowing how to EFFECTIVELY/EFFICIENTLY engage with their customers, not thru texting, snappy chatting, instant gramming....none of that time consuming going nowhere crap that puts you back @square one. Their communicative skills , obviously without a doubt are impeccable. The electronics technician is an incredulously highly intelligent Gentleman and had my phone RESTORED IN 16 HOURS for less than $30.00 and all of my data, numbers, documents etc. were not distorted . I gave my phone to them to be fixed and they looked at it and said that it would be $120 to be fixed. So I went ahead and signed a contract with them for my phone to be fixed. A day later I called and they then told me it would be $200. I was furious but I had already signed the contract with them so I just said okay. Over the course of a week I called and they ordered the wrong part twice. How do you make the same mistake twice? They told me it would be ready on Friday when I dropped it off on Monday. So I called Monday a week from drop off date and for a third time they told me I would have to wait because they ordered the wrong part yet again. I told them forget about it, I was going to pick up my phone as is and take it somewhere else. I live far away so the gas expense to get to and from was a complete waste of money. GUYS LISTEN DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT USE THESE OFF BRAND CHARGERS, THEY WILL MESS YOUR PHONE COMPLETELY UP!! I initially had my battery replaced and phone was charged fully, but once it went dead, no apple charger would charge my phone with the new battery in place. So, I decided to take my phone to Wireless Wizard for their advice. They informed me that my charging port needed to be replaced and it may not have been the battery that I had previously replaced after all.
