So beautiful and inviting and very quaint, The Salvage Shed is packed with treasures and amazing finds that the owner has personally brought back from, England, France and Italy. I so appreciate the upcycling and re-purposing that goes into so many of this shoppe’s items like windows, doors and farm house. This owner, a one woman show puts so much love not only into her transformations but the way that the shoppe welcomes you. I am mesmerized each time I go in and always seem to find something for myself even when I am searching for a gift. From the retro covered green and white velvet foot stool in my bedroom to the teal glass grapes that sit proudly in an urn on my dining room table these items bring me joy. My neighbor, a native of France was delighted when I found him a cheeseboard carved in the shape of France. The Salvage Shed is so unlike many of the shabby chic stores and pop-up places around town. The lady that was bringing things inside from the parking lot allowed us to park, get out, walk up to her, and finally made us ask if she was open. She said no, but they would be open next weekend.
