I came to visit this establishment for the first time with my family in tow. Started off ok and then turned into some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. This is the first waitress ever that did not receive a tip from me. I used to work in the food industry so I understand how you earn and what good and ok service looks like. We ordered 2 pizzas, nachos, a burger, a kids meal, and drinks. My first drink was sweet tea that I didn't think tasted that great so I asked for a root beer instead and was obliged. Food was slow to arrive not a waitstaff issue though checking on our drinks and letting us know that food was on the way. This is where things went bad. Our food was received and my pizza had onions something I do not like and asked for them to be removed when I ordered my pizza. The waitress ask if everything looks ok. I state that I asked for no onions on my pizza. She looks at me with a look as if no you are wrong. All I say is the menu states that the pizza I ordered comes with them but I asked for them to be removed. She says I will take that back and get it fixed for you. A few minutes later she comes back with the same pizza that I can see someone decided to pick onions off of and return to the table. Not only is this unsatisfactory service it is unsanitary. What if the reason I didn't want them was allergies. It wasn't but again in an if situation why risk it. The manager stopped by my table to ask how things were I expressed my disgust with how the situation was handled. He offered to replace the pizza but that should have been done in the first place. He then goes to the back and sends his waitress over to ask if everything was ok. At this point we received no refills no other check ins of any kind. At the very least the manager should have come over with the server and explained why the situation was unsatisfactory. Maybe this is the way the business operates but I doubt it highly. I feel this was a failure across the board. Failure by the server to listen the first time and to fix the situation afterwords. If she sent it back to the kitchen and the kitchen returned it to her that way she should have said it was unacceptable. Then the manager should have made a stronger effort to appease the patrons as well as to correct what I can strongly assume is not the way this business protocol is laid out. And finally I was displeased and I voiced it to multiple levels and got poor responses all around. For the server to quit refilling drinks is why I feel she lost her tip above all the other stuff going on I tried to enjoy it with my family and they couldn't get drink refills because of the way something else went. Piss poor in my...
Read moreMy wife and I were warned that the service was awful, and the food was subpar but we decided to try it anyways.
Positive: Arrived at 5:30 and was seated right away.
Negative: Wasn't addressed by a server for 10 minutes. It took 10 more minutes to get our drinks. My beer was incorrect. I had one drink of it and knew it was wrong. My wife's margarita was awful. Top shelf liquor not just a house margarita. When I asked about my beer it took another ten minutes to get an answer on the beer, that it was indeed correct according to them. Mind you the color was wrong as well as the taste, and I had only one drink out of it expecting to be offered another choice but that did not happen so now I'm drinking a $7 craft beer that was not poured correctly. My wife's chicken avocado sandwich had five 1/8" slices of avocado. The fries were barely above room temperature and they had no seasoning or salt or any flavor at all. My Chicago Fire calzone that's supposed to be spicy was far from it. The breading was supposed to have jalapeño in it but it was more like a carnival pretzel. I didn't even have a sip of water or beer it was so mild. Had I wanted a drink I would have been out of luck since my wife and I had 4 empty glasses for 20 or more minutes before being offered more "drinks" but not to refill our waters. My wife barely ate her meal and we weren't even asked if the food was bad rather than just taking our plates. Our server was awful, no energy, never checked on us, maybe it was because she was old and tired, I don't know. I'm real easy to please, bring me beer (I usually have several when I'm out, not just one) bring me food, make sure we are good and I'm happy. If I even looked at our bill other than to see the total price I'd put her name on here to tell her she sucks, find something different to do. We spent $41 which is 1/3 of what we normally spend when we go out. Management obviously lets this happen. I doubt a chain like this can go out of business but they ought to chain their doors shut and throw away the key. Won't go back, will tell other friends, family, co workers to avoid this place with passion so they know how serious I am. There are too many other places to choose from on both sides of the highway, that aren't awesome but beat the hell out of this...
Read morePerhaps I simply had a bad first experience. To summarize. Food: 3/5 Service: 1/5 Cleanliness: 4/5 Our waitress seemed to be pissed as soon as our group of five sat down. I don't know what it was, she was annoyed and happy to let everyone come to terms with that. She originally came to our table quickly, and was ready to take our order, I told her I needed another minute(being first time), and with a scoff and eye roll, she was off. It took her quite some time to get back to our table, and we were all more then ready at that time. There was a big soccer game on and a couple of my friends were stoked to see it, the place is covered in screens, but a single poorly positioned TV was the only one playing our game. I politely asked our waitress if she could change any of the 5 TVs near us. She told me that she couldn't because people had already asked her for the current channels on, but that when those people left she would do so. I'm a reasonable person. There was no one on our side of the restaurant watching these TVs. And, in the hour we were there, she didn't do anything. Mind you, the different waitress we saw for a total of two minutes provided us with more service then our actual waitress. She came by with a smile, asking us how we were, she noticed all of our drinks were emptied and told our waitress, who yet again scoffed while bringing us our drinks. All in all, that woman was an embarrassment of a waitress. I go out with groups of three or five, four nights a week. This waitress gave us a horrible first experience and we will not be coming here again. If you are coming here for a 20-25$ pizza I recommend you go to the BJ's nearby, where the service is...
