Seriously "transit?" This is for non-vehicle humans. The Site has zero parking spaces for people to park and ride the bus. At 9am on a Sunday, l drove through after a big snow storm dropped 3 feet. The entire parking lot, was full (of long-term parked vehicles that hadn't been moved in ages - No tracks in the snow). Zero empty parking spots. Not even plowed. Park City built a lovely transit center with restrooms and no way to park and ride the bus! Also....NO parking if you need to go to the bathroom quick. For all the searching, there is no official "Park n Ride" anywhere near. If you need to park and then ride the bus: You can drive and park at Canyons Resort or the Park City High School (non-school days only) These options involve traffic, being guided into a parking spot and walking a significant distance out of the lot and then waiting for a bus and being dropped off with a significant walk to the ski lift. So add a full hour of travel time (and hassle... and no 🚻 restrooms) if you need to actually Park n' Ride to a Park City ski resort. This transit center is ONLY for people changing buses who need a bathroom. For real. This transit center is here for you after you have been in bus transit for an hour from the Valley and you have another hour of bus transit in Park City and you have to go pee sooo bad. You would think this transit center would have a humongous gigantic parking lot. It has nothing. Park City is an angry place for anyone who dares to drive a car during Sundance. But, of course Park City had chosen for you. Park City insists that you should catch a bus in the valley and spend 2 hours busing yourself into their lovely town. And they built this lovely transit center for exactly that...
Read moreIt has restrooms, drinking fountains, and is an enclosed building. That is all it has going for it. The seating is horribly uncomfortable if you have to sit for more than 15 minutes. the internal temperature read it was 60 Degrees F while it was around 34 Degrees F outside making it uncomfortably cool like when waiting in a doctor's office. 0 real time information showing where buses are or time to departure. The information for High Valley Transit is out of date since 2022 doesn't show the route 107 SLC- Kimball Junction Connect. Signage for where buses stop is poor. You have to walk to each parking spot outside and try to find a paper sign taped on the window telling you what route and where it goes. There is 0 up to date signage for where the 107 route to SLC parks. Just some out of date Utah Transit Authority signage with routes 901-902 posted. There were no paper schedules when I visited early 2024. It's expected you will use your phone to figure this out. I feel like the primary point of this "transit center" is more to be the connection for the Salt Lake City route as there isn't much around here so I wish it was more comfortable in the event you are waiting an hour + for the...
Read moreIt's the first main hub you get to from SLC, which is a free 1hr ride. Lots of stores and restaurants in the area. You can see Olympic Park, and other resorts from here. Connections to other parts of Park City all come to this stop. Bus drivers and service is friendly and enjoyable for the most part. They have small shuttle services you can call and schedule a pick-up for elderly and handicapped people, or if your not near a main bus line. It's limited but very helpful. High Valley Transit, is hands down a better service then what you get...
