Quite possibly the most irresponsible, unresponsive rental accommodation management company there is. We landed at Salt Lake Coty airport and immediately phoned the management company. Their office is open until 10 pm for guests to check in, get their welcome packet and whatever directions/instructions are needed. The representative told us she was not going to wait until we got there, which would have been around 9 pm, well within the appropriate time frame. She told us to proceed right to the condo and that we could use a key code to get in to the condo. It was completely dark, we had no map of the complex, and we had never been here.
After searching the complex for the condo, which was poorly lit, we called the respresentative for directions. She directed us to a condo with the street number of the condo where we were to stay. Pull in the driveway, punch in the key code and the previously unlocked door opens. Great! We’re in. Nope, dirty sink with food in it, half eaten hamburger in the trash can, used towels all over the bathrooms, dirty sheets, used razor in the shower, etc. we ask the respresentative if this is the right place and if she could come meet us to make sure we are at the correct address. Something just didn’t feel right, but she was unwilling to do that.
So we find clean sheets, make the beds and sleep there to follow up in the morning with management. Turns out, it was the wrong condo and someone could have come home to find a family of six (four kids) plus their au pair sleeping in their house. The woman sent us to the wrong condo. She had better things to do than her job and the company could care less at what could have gone really, really wrong.
The next morning a represantive helps move our stuff to the right condo, which is across the street...same house number. Numbers for the condos are black by the way, and not visible at night. He says, “dinner is on us tonight and we’ll find other ways to make up for the mishap.” We are traveling with five other families, and every night is planned ahead as its difficult to make reservations for 40 at the last minute. All Seasons decides to give us gift certificates to some brewery, quite appropriate for a family with four kids under 10, to have “dinner on us”. Entrees are around $20 each, so 7x$20=$140 before beverages and tip. Not really dinner on us either way! But we should abandon the four other families we’re traveling with to get the free meal they promised us. They also promise to have our welcome packet sent to the condo. This is day five of our trip, and we have no welcome packet and no key to the condo. There’s only one door we can get into the condo through, which is on the other side of the condo from the driveway.
Now they’re saying we’re difficult and this is our fault! Unbelievable! This is the worst rental agency ever, and I can’t ever think why anyone would put the quality of their vacation and potentially their lives at risk by working with them.
Turns out the “right condo” is quite nice, so we can’t anything bad about the place,...
Read moreMy family had the unfortunate experience of staying at a vacation property managed by All Seasons Resort Lodging. We had booked well in advance, paid premium dollar for the home and for the time of year (holidays) and we were very disappointed on many fronts.
My wife and I got were first concerned as we checked in with a representative at the main office (side note: would suggest an electronic keypad - would have been much faster & keys are hectic to manage among a larger family), especially since they were slow, had trouble finding our reservation and generally looked confused.
When we arrived and entered the home, it was apparent that things were worn/damaged & in need of some maintenance and that a real deep cleaning was sorely needed. When we called the office to address raise our concerns, the staff were unprofessional and unhelpful and couldn't get someone to the our place for a 'couple days'. After experiencing their staff and tactics to deflect responsibility, we decided to solve the many problems ourselves, in order to save our winter vacation. On top of the poor service, dirty home, broken fixtures/lighting, I must also comment on the kitchen; it was the worst feature. The refrigerator was tiny for a place this size, and the dishwasher door was broken all the bottom rack of dishes would fall out if you didn't prop it up. Photo are deceiving to have a closer look. The handle on the microwave was broken in 2 places.
Updated appliances would go along way to make this place better and a thoughtful property management company. The hot tub was great (clearly an outside contractor), and the place was plenty room, just poorly maintained and ill managed.
We have stayed at other vacation rentals before, but this was by far our most disappointing experience yet. We do like hotels and we should have made other...
Read moreWe booked 3-3/2 in November but the week before our arrival this company struggled to provide what we booked. Each day prior to arrival they reached out to tell us they could not accommodate our party. It was more than frustrating and very disappointing. They said a roofing project and a flood in an unit was keeping them from honoring our reservations and it was all out of their hands. We're sure it was, but obviously the local management has not say over what the national management decides. We ended up with 2-3/2s, and 2-2/2s. We had a party of 8 adults and 4 children, so separating us in to different units was a challenge. Unit 15 didn't have normal kitchen pots and pans, dishes, amenities, not even salt. It is nicely appointed, but we struggled to cook in this unit. Unit 14 is beautiful, some cooking was done, but all items for the kitchen were purchased by us to cook with, as well. Unit 1 was nice, better appointed in the kitchen, they needed more towels, as they had kids. When they called the front desk they were told they had to pick them up at the front office, etc. They did, but this is poor customer service. Unit 8, I would not rent. Very worn and old. No cooking in this unit either. Overall, we had a good trip and each family got along fine, but it would have been nice to have extra towels, salt & pepper in the units and enough dishes to make it through more than one meal before hitting the dishwasher. Is this place a hotel, a vacation rental, or a private condo? We don't know... and obviously they are struggling to define themselves, as well. An AirBNB would have had everything we needed. A hotel would have provided upon request. A vacation rental... well, then they need to be better appointed with some general dishes, spices, towels, etc to meet the need of the...
