the shopping mall is great! many unique little stores! one of my FAVORITES is shop #42 and i think a lot of people would agree. I do however have an issue with one of their female clerks. she was working the register for shop 42 on Saturday 12/28/19. When i decided on some stone carvings locked behind glass, i asked for her assistance. when she opened it and i chose my animals, i asked what they were made of and she said "soapstone" .. i sell soapstones at my shop and am familiar with the raw stone and the finished stone.
i knew that she was wrong. but instead of accusing her of being incorrect i simply said "hmmm...Theyre not as soft as other soapstones".. TO WHICH SHE SAID " ya well they're not soapy " TALK about condescending. She was helpful at one point, she did show me a neat attribute of the book i bought. When i left, I looked up the artist group by the card that came with the animals.

The stones in this shop are being purchased for their properties. it would be helpful if the clerk knew what they were talking about. Anyway. The shop owner seemed very receptive when i called, though i did not mention how rude this woman was. I just didn't want to get her in trouble. but the more i think about it the more i realize she needs to be addressed. I will be returning to this shop. i do expect to be treated like a valued customer and...
