My 14-year-old daughter had an awful experience at this MiniSo location that left her in tears and me extremely frustrated.
She bought a regular-priced item using the self-checkout machine. About 90 minutes later, she decided to return it and buy something else. But when she asked for help, the staff told her that items purchased from the machine could not be refunded — something that is not written anywhere on the receipt, on the kiosk, or in the store. The receipt clearly says that unopened full-priced items can be returned within 14 days, using the original method of payment. There is no mention that using the self-checkout would void the return policy.
The staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful, even when they saw she was a minor who was visibly upset. When I arrived, they contradicted each other about who the manager was, refused to give names, and still would not process the return — even though we met all the return conditions.
To make matters worse, when I tried to contact their customer service using the email listed on their official website (customer-care@miniso-na.com), the email bounced back as undeliverable. So not only is the in-store customer service unacceptable, but there’s no working way to reach anyone higher up.
This was not only poor service — it was deeply disappointing, especially in how a child was treated. If MiniSo has different policies for kiosk purchases, they must clearly post them. And if not, this store is violating their own rules. Either way, something needs to change.

Spent over $100 there this past Sunday and the girl working (short reddish hair) didn’t ask for my phone number so the purchase could go towards my reward points. When I asked if I could give her my number, she was very short with me and said “Nope. Systems down. Want a bag?” I said sure and asked, “so my purchase today won’t go towards my rewards?” Again, she was very short with me, “Nope”. I asked how can I get my points (because spending over $100 should give me some decent points) and she legitimately answered with, “Don’t know. Receipts in the bag” then shoved my bag at me across the counter.
I genuinely love Miniso and don’t live anywhere close to one so when I do get the chance to, I ALWAYS visit a Miniso store and buy something. However, the worker comes up to me and asks me to stop touching the makeup. I was looking at the testers and there was already opened package makeup that I didn't even touch. I replied with they are opened and I'm looking and asked how would I see the shades if it's a closed flip makeup. I didn't swatch any makeup. I was just looking at open tester palettes. I did end up buying a palette but it's crazy to consider I was still profiled, when in the end I bought something. Do better.
