It's sad that the recent incline in theft affecting retail stores is dictating our shopping experience. Employees now aggressively herds you to the front or completely out of the store 25 minutes before marked closing times, customer care and experience means nothing anymore. And they must be rewarded for being rude. I'm sure of it, and making you feel like you've done something very wrong, even having security creeping 4 ft behind my every step all because I came in less than an hour before closing. Seriously this dude creeped me out and refused to give me his name. I had to literally sprint to a worker and explain that the man high on my tail was harassing me and making me feel unsafe by not declaring who he was .. She literally didn't open her mouth. I'm sure there has to be rule somewhere in that book stating if security or any employees of Kohl's is to stalk and intentionally make a customer feel unwanted and uncomfortable they must state their name, intentions and reason... Right? For safety purposes? I understand everyone wants to go home but come-on! There is a listed time that paying customers use to rely on, knowing if they make the trip the door will be open between written hours...And my money must mean something to this company, mine and the other unknown number of customers they have lost due to this treatment.... This used to be a favorite place to shop. More upscale quiet environment where you can relax and enjoy yourself, yet still affordable. Well, Not AnyMore. After driving 45 minutes after a 9 hour shift to catch some important birthday shopping before closing and making it with an hour to spare.. I left empty handed, offended and confused. Thanks Kohl's for embarrassing me and making me feel like criminal after years of loyal patronage. 😭😭😭 Farewell. I'm sure you're following the likes of your longtime mall neighbor Bed Bath and...
Read moreI use to LOVE Kohl's and would go in at least once every couple weeks. It's been awhile since that. I was looking for a plain white shirt. Nobody seems to have. I did find one at Marshall's. But in looking at all the CLEARANCE merchandise in Kohl's. I was absolutely stunned and floored at what their idea of "clearance" is! Its a joke. They have a TON of it all over the store. And they sure won't get rid of it with prices that use to be cheaper than that not even ON clearance. I use to go for sales and clearance. The same jeans I bought a year ago on clearance for about $5-6. Were like $20 now. On sale! I know times have changed and inflation is rampant everywhere. But wow!. Even an elderly gentleman waa commenting on it as well! I doubt I'll be going back any time soon. I did find a couple pair of nice shorts for summer for $7. And a pretty bracelet for my bestie. ( not really a great sale either. At $21..those use to be around $15. So all wasn't lost. I suppose. The staff was ok. A bit pushy about their credit card. Which I declined. And the lady already had the discount on it. Assuming I was going to run my credit. NOPE! I just wanted out of there as my sugars were getting low. Hope they lower their prices. Or they will lose business....
Read moreI'm not sure how I feel about this store. The employees were pretty nice but I was returning a gift with both the regular receipt and the gift receipt. It was bought with a debit card and cash should have been issued back per their return policy. The employee returning the item didn't really want to confirm that they didn't have my item in another size but eventually did and then went to issue me a store credit. When I asked her why I wasn't getting cash back so I could buy this item somewhere else she said she didn't know it's just what the computer said. She wasn't willing to call anybody or do any further investigation. It took me awhile but I did find something to use half the store credit on and then eventually lost the receipt showing the other half. I probably won't return and that's saying a lot as I avoid malls like the plague. I was excited when they came to Gig Harbor that will probably end up going back across the bridge...
