I’ve been dealing with depression these past days & decided to take my daughters out to this store so we went yesterday 10/8 at around 7ish pm. Thought it would be a good idea to just walk around look at the Halloween stuff or whatever but as soon as we walked in the only female employee working that night started walking towards us complaining & huffin about how people don’t put the stuff back where they belong. Okay I understand that can be really annoying but that’s your job but anyways I continued walking & wherever we went she was right behind us just huffin & puffin she was rude & did not even greet us when we she would passed by not that she had to but she saw me walking around looking & almost bumped into me & couldn’t even say excuse me. After all we got what we wanted but her attitude did not help me trying to deal with people specially when there’s no reason to be mad since you’re getting paid to do your job. I will have to look for another 5 below since i do not feel welcome in this one. Other than that the employee at the cash register was awesome 5 stars to him he greeted us & he had manners...

An elderly black woman working at the store discriminated against me by refusing to serve me, claiming they didn't serve students at that time. Despite being 19 years old and not a high school student, she was rude and insisted I leave. Two security guards intervened and advised me to leave the store. This situation was clearly unfair, and I believe the woman's actions were inappropriate.The store employee initially assumed I was younger due to my appearance, which is understandable. However, her approach was unnecessarily hostile. Even when I attempted to clarify what was meant by "student," she reacted with anger, stating, "I am not going to argue with you," and walked away while raising her voice. Read moreI have never seen worse customer service in a store. I used to go to Five Below in Baltimore all the time for snacks and such, It was always a great experience. I thought it could be the same here but boy was I wrong. The moment I walked in the store the employees looked disappointed that another customer entered there store. They were in their own world and not paying any attention to the customers asking for help.
They charged me for a bag without letting me know and rushed to the keypad to give themselves a high review for customer experience I HAD!! This is why I made sure to come to google to give my real review. I don't think I'll go back to this...
