This is one of the most ill mannered disrespectful uneducated stores in GREENBELT PLAZA . The sales girl is rude and short of patients, she does not DISPLY any knowledge of her products. She sold me some tea, but first you pay. After she taking my money she became rude and displayed more of an attitude with no interest or patience. I asked her how do you prepare the detox tea, I was told to put 2 teaspoons of herbs into a cup of 8 ounces of hot water. When I got home, I put 2 teaspoon in a cup of hot water. I attempted to drink it, however the herbs began to gosh into my mouth and the tea was extremely strong and bitter. I attempted to the tea spitting out the herbs. I desperately needed a cleanse. A little later I begin to itch and scratch and my asthma was triggered. I went to the emergency room and was given a breathing treatment and Benadryl . I initially went into the store for my friend to buy mushroom coffee, he didn’t answer the phone so I left, waiting for his return call. I had him on face time when I returned to the store. I had mentioned to him that the sales girl was rude, but I needed a cleansing aide.she is a blatant liar she claims she has a video tell her to show you the video that I stayed in her store for an hour and a half. I have receipts to show what time I went in to the other stores, And a telephone call on live to verify my travels and what transpired in that store. I called the owner and the owner blamed me for preparing the tea the way I was instructed by her sales girl.( make that make sense) She also told me that was my problem that I had an allergic reaction that they were not responsible for that, however it was the strength of the tea, and the misleading instructions. She also told me that it was my word against her sales staff on the instructions. My friend was still on the phone. The owner told me I came into the store looking for a problem because my friend was on face time. The owner was rude, disrespectful and unbothered by her sales staffs behavior, and bad instructions. She also mentioned the instructions were on the jar. I have a disability which is recognized by medical professionals and the state, due to a head and neck injuries from an automobile accident, the words with move or become scramble. For that reason I always choose verbal explanations. I strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE. AFTER PAYING FIRST , THE PERSONALITY CHANGES FOR THE WORST, SHORT PATIENCE AND A RUSH TO END THE TRANSACTION. THE LADY WHO CLAIMED TO BE THE OWNER TOLD ME SHE DIDN’T CARE WHAT TRANSPIRED BETWEEN THE SALES GIRL AND I, IT WAS MY WORD AGAINST HERS. Instead of trying to resolve the issues to keep a customer she became hostile loud and rude. I HAVE NOTICE LEGITIMATE COMPLAINTS FROM YOU AS PAYING CUSTOMERS, MY PASTOR WAS A STATE SENATOR. I feel if we come together and make our complaints known concerning LIFE HEALTH of GREENBELT PLAZA, GREENBELT, MD we can make a difference. I believe action could possibly be taken to have this business permanently dismissed from the plaza or have secret shoppers go into the store and take notes or record their poor customer service. We as Americans are suffering with food and drug prices sky rocketing and to have LIFE HEALTH profiting from us with such poor customer service is disgraceful. Just as Target and other businesses are being boycotted, let’s add LIVING HEALTHY AT GREENBELT PLAZA TO THE LIST. Note: watch the owner come back with a nasty and rude remark. No professionalism nor respect for the customers. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS LOW GRADE RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL NO HAVING CUSTOMER SERVICE STORE! I came to the store with my mother and three kids in search of a form of magnesium- for my mother who moves around with a walker. We sought some advice from the store associate but she was preoccupied on the phone- which I later found out was the owner. As I was speaking with the associate (who proved to be unknowledgeable about the forms of magnesium), inquiring about the different types of magnesium- she looked at me and pointed to my son. I looked down and recognized that my son was rearranging boxes. I apologized and asked him to stop- which he did immediately. I soon realized that the floor was wet so I inquired why the floor was wet, only to find out that my three year old had an accident. I apologized again to the associate and asked her if there is anything I can use to clean up the mess. I got down on the floor cleaned up and was sincerely apologetic. Soon after I was summoned to the phone and was told to leave the store because my kids were making a mess. I didn’t push back nor did I get upset. I immediately left the store with my kids and mother.
In response to the owner: Again- I would never shop here again nor would I recommend anyone with children to shop here (and I write this as I am in Blue Nile getting expert advice). The pillar of any business stands on customer service- you lack it! That is not only shown in your response- which is non factual- but it also in reviews left by other customers. Be careful with shopping here and taking advice from the people that work in here! I was told the wrong information about herbs for fibroid tumors! Thankfully I did not purchase right away and did my research. I actually think that was the owner that gave me incorrect information that day I went in here. The staff watch you like a hawk while shopping around and looking at the items. Just weird and uncomfortable !! Also, the body oils are over priced! Mad I purchased one! It smelled so weird after wearing it for awhile. Go to the Beauty supply store that's in the same mall! They are $3.99 and smell better! I will not return here. There is a better herbal shop near by on Berwyn Rd and the people there are very educational on the herbs they sell...
