I have to keep adding to this reviewâŚ.when you leave a bad review for this store you will receive a reply from their âcustomer serviceâ dept asking you to reach out to them via email or their 800#. And itâs a joke. Theyâll only tell you theyâll fwd all the info to store management and âsomeoneâ will get back to you. Again itâs a joke. Iâve been going back and forth with customer service for 2 weeks. And this store manager has yet to contact me. Their trying to wear me down and it ainât workin đ.
Drove 45 mins to this store Nov 2022 to purchase some ammo. While looking around we were approached by older gentleman who is an employee at the gun display. He asked if we were looking for anything special. My husband replied âno we are just looking â. The employee asked my husband if we had a sportsmanâs warehouse credit card coz they had a âspecial promotionâ going on. 8months no interest if it totals close to $800. Ok cool while weâre hereâŚweâll purchase another gun. After choosing what my husband wanted we paid for the gun and got a few more boxes of ammo. December rolls around and we get the first statement from comenity bank who holds sportsmans accounts. We were charged $14 in interestâŚhmmm so we wait til Jan statementâŚagain $14 interest. My husband contacts comenity and they filed a dispute. Said 90 days weâll have an answer for you!! Great!! Feb, March, April still charged $14 each month. In may when 90 days is up my husband contacts comenity againâŚthis time we need to contact the store. Ok fine. Call THIS store and speak to manager of fishing dept coz store manager and hunting manager were in a meeting. Fishing manager said heâd talk to both of them and someone get back to us. He suggested calling corporate ! Oookkkk call corporate and tell the whole story to another fella. He emailed a link To my husband and asked to get a pic of the receipt. Also asked if we had the âspecial promotionâ paperwork. My husband replies NOOO didnât receive any. Just this receipt dated Nov 20, 2022. The time and register #. Proceed to send pix of receipt. Now itâs been 2 weeks. No call backs. No emails. Nothing. We purchased a $5000 âspecial promotionâ bed set last year from Rooms To Go. We didnât get any âspecial promotionâ paperwork for that just a receipt. We could have purchased this gun and paid cash. But with the âspecial promotionâwe ll leave the money in the bank. Iâve been in retail 40 plus years. Employees do misinform customers on various occasions. When that happens itâs up to the store management to make it right. Regardless. Send us a gift card or something to make it right for all our aggravation Weâve basically had smoke blown at us from every angle for 5 months. And if this is how Sportsmanâs warehouse feels about their customers then fine. Weâve paid off our card and have cut it up. Sure itâs only alittle under $100 in interest. But itâs the principleâŚbad business and bad customer service. So we No longer will we travel to Greensboro we can hit the highway and go to Southern Variety Guns and Ammo in Biscoe NC. Southern Variety Guns and Ammo have EVERYTHING we need and more. They have attentive and KNOWLEDGEABLE associates and appreciate you if your just looking around, buying a box or 2 of ammo or purchasing $800 worth of guns. Again thatâs SOUTHERN VARIETY GUNS and AMMO in BISCOE NC.

   Read moreThey are a bunch of racists, me and another person which we happen to be customers of this place decided to go in for this special event they were having where if you are one of the first people in the door you get a token, me and this other person decided to go today, this Caucasian looking person got a token but when it came to me they werenât even considering giving me one, mind you that this person and I were not even side by side, but when I got the token table the 2 female employees just stood there looking at me not even considering giving me a token, I just stood there looking at them waiting to get a token, with that awkward moment all they had to say is âare you together?â I answered yes and they said that itâs only one token. So what in their mind makes them think that the person that was walking always in front of me and who walked away after receiving the token was with me. But of course my foreign looking self had to get discriminated, meanwhile the people in front of us didnât and I highly doubt that the people that came after me did. And there were plenty walking in groups or couples. If I rode with another person or not should not be none of their business because I am an individual customer paying with my own money, no one is going to pay for my purchase other than me, therefore I should have gotten a token, but the fact that they werenât even considering giving me one is a dead giveaway that they were discriminating me on the basis of race. This is a store with a customer base of predominantly the white race. If you are not that race then in my opinion it would be best to spend your money elsewhere. It took me a minute to realize how wrong that was, but when I did I immediately decided to walk out and take my $1,000.00 to another store and I will NEVER EVER come spend my money in this store, and I will NEVER let anyone buy me anything from this store.
