Horrible customer service. I've been here twice in the last 2 weeks and I will not purchase anything else from this store. The lady that helped me I did not get her name but I should have because she doesn't need to be employed there anymore. She is extremely rude and has lied to me and my fiance twice. We went to look at wedding bands for my fiance and he found the one he liked and she proceeded to tell us that it was the last one and couldn't be found on Kay's website so if he wanted that band he should get it. I took it upon myself, looked online at Kay's and wouldn't you know we found it on there and it was almost $300 less. We went back in there almost 2 weeks later to pick up my engagement ring, it needed to be sized and I will say they did a wonderful job at sizing my ring and it looks very beautiful. However I did decide to look at wedding bands that match my ring I found one I liked and yet again she proceeded to tell me it was the last band like that, couldn't be found in any other Kay's stores and couldn't be found online(all lies). She also told me that my style engagement ring only has 1 band that will fit it and it was that band she had in her hand. I told her I could come back in 2 days, on friday to purchase the ring and asked if I could take a picture of the band with the tag and she told me no that I could not take a picture of it and that they are not allowed to let people take pictures of their jewelry with the tag. I told her that I just wanted to make sure when we come back friday to purchase the ring I get the right band and she still refused. I asked her for the serial number so I could double check and see if they had it online and she refused to give me that and told me again that I wouldn't find that band or any band that fits my ring online or in any other Kays store. After leaving me and my fiance searched on Kay's website and found the exact same band and it was almost $600 less! We also went to another Kay's store thats only 15 minutes away from this store and they had multiple bands that fit beautifully with my ring and they were very helpful and kind. I understand they work for commission but that doesn't mean you have to be so rude and flat out lie to the customer. Shopping for wedding rings is supposed to be a happy, exciting and fun experience for a couple, picking out the rings we will wear for the rest of our lives. We by no means had that experience...
Read moreI gave only one star but would prefer to give negative stars instead. My bf, at the time, and I went there to look at engagement rings and wedding bands. We both found wedding rings we liked. He purchased mine and we were going back later to get his. We decided to get a personalized one of a kind engagement ring made. When we finally put my engagement ring with the wedding it didn't fit or look appealing. So within a year of having the wedding band, we went back to Kay's. They said we couldn't return it or exchange it but we didn't have my engagement ring with us. We went back later with my ring and they saw that the set wouldn't work. They said we could exchange it for a wedding band that looked better and would fit. We found one. It was a lot cheaper than the one we originally purchased. They said we couldn't get money back just store credit OR so we thought. So we picked out a few more items to make up the difference in the price. THEN they said we could GIVE them the original wedding band back with no money or credit back and purchase the new wedding band along with the rest of the items we picked by buying them today. YES I SAID THAT RIGHT. They wanted us to give them the wedding band we paid over $5,000 for free and then spend more money on the new wedding band and other items. I was nervous and excited to begin this experience with my now fiance because it was the start of us making our life together. HOWEVER KAY'S totally ruined the experience for me. Every kiss doesn't begin with KAY but instead ends with a kick in the A** while blatantly robbing you blind. Worse experience EVER. DO NOT RECOMMEND. WILL NEVER SHOP IN THIS STORE AGAIN. I totally HATE that we began our journey together at Kay's. AUCION HART IN NEW ORLEANS is where we had my engagement ring made and we will go there to get our wedding bands as well.
