Tia is a very rude and condescending employee. I came in due to my card being locked and had to make a deposit from my checking to savings account. I also needed to make a transfer from my savings to my checking. Tia was very rude off the bat and was noticeably disappointed when she realize I didnt have my card & she was going to need to do âpaperwork.â She made these transactions unnecessarily complex. I mentioned to her that I have my savings account hidden in my app & since the hide feature is disabled in the app at this time I did not feel comfortable displaying it to get my savings account number. I was here just a few days ago and whoever helped me was able to provide that for me. Tia was very condescending and rude she began pouting and asking what I am not understanding. She also said âI donât know if youâre in a bad mood todayâ when she is in fact what made me upset by insinuating that I didnât know what was going on. I then asked her for her name as her jacket was covering up her name tag. She completely ignored me so I asked for her name 3 more times with no answer. It was not until I asked to speak to her manager that she rudely said her name is on her name tag and there is no reason she would be hiding her name. I did not even get either of the transactions i wanted to get done. She just wasnât interested in assisting me when she realized there would be additional steps on...
Read morePlease be wise and do not bank at Chase Bank in Gurnee IL. My father in law died June 4th before he could get to the lock box for the original will. We brought a copy from the lawyer who wrote the will stating his son is the executor and we are still denied entry to the lock box as deemed by their "legal department." We are in possession of both keys to the box. Dina the assistant bank branch manager should not be working with the public as often times people who have experienced loss need to interact with the bankers. Two months since Pa's death and we have been on this over a month with this bank. Our lawyer, Barbara Swanson of Gurnee said this Chase Bank is breaking Illinois laws. I am thankful we have a family owned bank, Oconee Federal, owned by the Evatts in South Carolina. What a difference in professionalism and decorum. Can't wait to get home and tell them how appreciative we are of them and their support to our community....
Read moreI just wanted to open a simple checking account, there were only a couple of people ahead of me when I walked in and needed up waiting almost an hour just to be seen. The issue I donât think is with the company as a whole but this particular branch is an atrocity. Not even a minute after waking in, I see two bank tellers arguing in front of or in the vicinity of customers. Then I had to use my home of record as a primary address despite being in the military and stationed here, because the teller says he has no proof of address. It took an hour to do something that only took 15-20 mins. To piggy back off the other reviews, this place is slow and unprofessional. If you want to operate at a Chase bank, look for a different, more...
