Stopped by on my way to the movie theater to grab my favorite sandwich. The sandwich I got had globs of mayo on it, so much that even after trying to eliminate all the mayonnaise it was still drenched in it. I almost think it was done intentionally because it was as if someone just poured half a bottle on the sandwich. I called and spoke with Ian who was very pleasant and he was willing to replace it for me. I let him know I would try to make it back before they closed, but we were on our way to the movies. I was not able to make it back in time so I figured I would just call the next time I ordered. I order almost daily. I called today and the lady that answered was so rude. She offered to replace the sandwich THIS TIME as a one time only type of thing because "we don't normally do that" because we have too many managers. She said they usually give vouchers. Then she went on to say they have burned before... Not sure what that had to do with me. I offered to give her the information from my receipt but she declined. She also had a condescending tone. NOT COOL! She replaced the sandwich and this time I asked for mayonnaise on the side and this time there was no mayonnaise. I give up, this location just cannot seem to get orders correct. They either put ingredients you don't ask for or don't give you ingredients you do ask for. I was willing to work with them until speaking with that rude lady today. BTW lady you should probably speak with Ian about the process he should be following instead of treating me like a liar. I'm not supporting a business that is not willing to fix their errors in a...
Read moreUpdate 08/13/23. Ordered a salad for pickup. The take out container seems to have gotten smaller even though the prices continue to rise. I was also disappointed they had no bread for a side. You do serve bread here, right? Yet another reason I don't come here regularly anymore. Update 05/14/19: Came in for dinner at 7:45 p.m., and they were busy shutting down the ice tea and lemonade area. Once again, they are too concerned about closing shop versus waiting on actual paying customers. Ordered two salads via kiosk with customized toppings and they managed to add the wrong dressing. Update 06/17/18: This location is closed as of 06/15/18. Their new location is on the Northeast corner of Grand Avenue and Hunt Club Road, Gurnee. Just west of Red Robin. This new store also features a drive through window. My review from their old location: Decent sandwiches and salads. Pastries are sometimes old and a bit dry. Often come here after 8 PM for dinner, but they try and close down early by clearing things out and by mopping the floor. (Never mind the paying customers trying to get a meal.) They're open until 9 PM during the week, but they often remove all containers of iced tea around 8:30 PM. Either the store is open until 9, or they should just make it 8:30. *update 06/29/17 was in for dinner at 8:10 p.m., their summer hours are until 10 p.m., but they already took all of the teas away. Most empty...
Read moreDoes not live up the standard they set with their high prices. Our meals averaged about $9 each and that didn’t include a drink. If you’re going to charge that much in addition to making us stand in a line to order, retrieve our own food, and bus our own tables, it better be worth it! But it wasn’t. This restaurant was filthy. The bathroom reeked of urine, dirty, and in need of serious updating. It was a no-named-brand gas station bathroom experience. The thing that really upset me was the coffee bar. Every single coffee dispenser was splattered with old coffee and had dirty handles. Not an ounce of creamer in the skim milk nor the half and half containers. The guy that was there before me was waiting for more but eventually gave up. I had to flag down an employee to get them replaced. Instead of replacing them, she took them behind the counter for 3 or so minutes and refilled the same dirty containers that had obviously been in use for a long time. There was crusted-on, dried-out creamer all over the spout. Next time I'll go to McDonalds and feed my family for 1/4 of the price and get a better...
