My son and I went in today for a watch battery. We actually had gone to a jewelry store in Pickerington yesterday after they said they had the battery we needed. We arrived and not one of their 5 employees said hello. They took the back off of the watch and told us they didnt have the battery. They put the back on crooked. I asked that they call me when they recieved their next order for batteries. They looked put off so we decided not to go back. My husband found Dunkin Diamonds in a google search. We arrived and were immediately greeted. The manager Kris helped us out right away. He told us he wanted to make sure the back hadnt been damaged bc there is only a certain way you can place the backing. He replaced the battery and placed the backing on correctly and told my son there was no charge bc we had to wait. Kris was initially on the phone when we arrived and honestly we didnt wait that long. My son just brought home a bunch of watches that belonged to his grandpa who passed away several years back so the watches are special to him. My boyfriend and I are getting engaged next month. We stopped by and talked to an older woman (Janet?) who asked us what our budget was. We told her 15-1600 and she proceeded by showing us $3,000 rings. She wasn’t to informative and we was only in there maybe 5 minutes? I feel as if we were treated more as people passing thru rather than us actually being serious about making a purchase. It was rather heartbreaking. I forgot to ask if you guys sold salt and pepper diamonds so I called back in and talked to the same woman who proceeded to tell me “no we don’t sell them and Idk why you’d want one they’re ugly. The regular diamonds are so much prettier” and if you personally knew me and my story you’d know why I wanted salt and pepper. Pretty discouraging experience.
