Underrated Pirates Cove location. My wife and I play minigolf as the main activity on some of our vacations and this is our second romantic vacation based around it. In our opinion this course is nicer than most of the courses in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge (old macdonald comes to mind but we have not played crave). We haven't played this course dry yet. During our water logged round of 51 to 50 where I was beaten by my wife by one stroke, we really appreciated the decor and greenery. It is true that the greens when we played could have used a blow off, and definitely this place dry isn't the same as it is wet; but the course itself and its greens and longer holes shined through anyway. We would return and include it into future trips to Helen. We have been to a Pirates Cove miniature golf course closer to home that we did not like quite as much so maybe one of these locations isn't exactly the same...
Read moreCute mini golf course. My daughter chose this one over the other 2 in town because it looked like it had more obstacles. I took pics of most of the holes to show them. Also had several photo ops around the course. Pirate themed obviously with music playing throughout. There was a really cool 3 level one, another in a cave and the final hole you had to jump a creek. Lots of shady areas to hide in and you get a free popsicle or ice cream sandwich at the end! I like that they have lots of different ball colors too for larger groups. Also, you can keep score online and read about pirates as you go through and there's a joke online for every hole. You can also just read about pirates on the signs posted at each hole. We got $2 pp from our hotel but they also offer a military/veteran discount. Took us about an hour...
Read moreA great putt putt place! Everything about it is themed to pirates. There are 18 holes and each are a little different. Staff is really nice. I didn't check out the bathrooms so I'm not sure about the cleanliness of those. The prices were something around $9 or $9.50 per child when we went. They have a little mote type of thing going on with a bunch of fish in it. You can feed the fish by getting fish food out of a $.25 candy dispenser, so bring quarters if you want to do that. Definitely worth checking out. Something to note, they don't have a parking lot. There is one right next to it and...
