Racially profiled at this location. left in tears, and the store managers defended this "MIT" was her name. this person, from the moment i walked up to the desk, after she was smiley and happy with the guest before me, told her to have a great day. as soon as she saw me, she rolled her eyes and pretended to be happy to get my returns going. i had 5 returns, 2 which were throw blankets. i had 1 folded really nicely and the other was a little dishelved, i could tell she was struggling with putting it into the bag so when i handed her the other i said, here this 1 is a little bit better and im sorry about the other. she then went ahead and finished my scans. little did i know, or was even made aware that i was supposed to Grab the sheets with the barcode and toss them into the trash. but BOY was i made aware of this after i was done returning my items. i just left church prior to this and the pastor was speaking about speaking jesus to everyone. i went ahead and asked this woman to have a blessed day after my final transaction, i was met with anger, and rude yelling at me and her rolling her eyes and shaking her head stating "we throw our things away in here you need to throw your trash away rolling her eyes" and grinning at me. did not say thank you or hey ma'am dont forget to to toss these. mind you this is tennessee. and these behavior was extremely shocking. i froze and was gonna grab it and toss it but then saw her grinning as to say yeah you better grab it, while there was a line behind me, with gods strength and guidence, i was able to turn to her and say to the demon behind the counter, no YOU throw it away. and walked away. i was in tears and almost left the store, but im tired of people getting away with these behaviors so i found the manger and told him. i was then put to the other manager. which only said mhm mhm mhm mhm. over and over. they both combined and gave excuses for her behaviors and said her job is mind numbing and im sure it was not targeted at you.... when the lady before me had excellent service. and i told them she rolled her eyes at me while helping the other lady. they still made excuse after excuse. no comfort, no / low empathy and deflection. they said they were short staffed and she was not a believer. .. i went to my car and my partner was getting my door saw me in tears and i had to go back in with him and my children. he spoke to the same manager and had few words for how he handled the situation. we are going to corporate and tbh i feel a lawsuit coming for how everything was handled and the excuses being made and no one saying she would be punished in any capacity. i even stated (after they said to give them suggestions) to not hire people who cant be kind to others if they are working with other people. we are in contact...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI returned several items to the Amazon drop-off today. The line was exceptionally long, yet I had no problem waiting my turn to have my returns processed. The young man at the register was very helpful, but obviously flooded with the volume of customers and packages. When my turn arrived, I had 5 items, there was an issue with one of the return labels from Amazon. We decided to skip that return and proceed with the others. As I was pulling up the QR Code for my final return, another employee stepped up to assist the clerk and asked me to step out of the line while I retrieved the QR code because I was holding up the line. Mind you. I was in mid-transaction. I quietly stated that I had Also waited my turn in the very long line and that I would have the code in one second, so, I would not be leaving the line until my transaction was complete. This man proceeds to state to me that he has a built in desire to be considerate to other's but he guesses that I Do Not! I explained to him again that the line was very long when I arrived and that I had kindly waited my turn, therefore I was not being inconsiderate. He pri needs to say to me, Yes some people always offer the word But as an excuse to not be accommodating and that he understood that I really didn't care about the people behind me. He proceeded to say things under his breath as I located the last qr code and finalized my return. I told him Again in a very polite voice that it was not due to me that there was only one person in place to handle the exceptionally long line, but that I was entitled to be treated as all the customers ahead of me, which I politely waited behind, had been. I don't know why I was selected to be chastised and basically berated by this employee, but his attitude and his words have forced me to decide that Staples may not be where I should be when you are busy. The whole situation was uncalled for and offensive. I am a business owner, and I've been a loyal customer at this store since your Grand Opening many years ago. I am truly offended and disgusted by mistreatment on today. Who is he to challenge a customer and question their compassion and integrity that way and in front of other customers? That was personal. It had nothing to do with business. He was out of line...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery frustrated! My brother told me he had a great experience here so I gave it a try. 3 employees behind the counter. I didnāt have a box at home to fit the frames for pictures being sent. They said download this app fill all the info, boxes are over there go to the main registers to ring it in. After testing it all the boxes I ended up with one way too big but I had a long frame, wish an associate would have assisted alittle, but no. Got back up to the front and they saw there was glass so they suggested going to the self desk to wrap. There was about 4 inches left, which did nothing. I asked if they had tape hoping they might help, nope, handed me a tape gun I start taping and bring it to the front to see if they might bubble tape the products a bit more nope. I tape up the top of the box and proceed. They scan the code for my app and they get an error. They try to restart scan again , no luck. Move me to another associate 15 minutes later, no luck. Call over a manager, he does nothing says sorry no luck go to UPS. About an hour for nothing!! Ended up getting amazing service at UPS. They said wow this box is way too big and youāre definitely going to need more bubble wrap! Let me help you with that! In and out in 5 minutes!! I think you guys should take some notes from them for sure. Felt extremely ignored and embarrassed the whole time I was at staples no advice or help just issue...
