Called to see if they did Live Scan Fingerprinting and confirmed they did but did was not communicated to me that they can't take appointments the last 30 minutes of closing. Came in at 6:30ish and initially, Sue did not want to process fingerprinting for me and even said that the form I provided was incorrect. After further review, she saw that the form had all of the needed information and me being a mom with an antsy toddler, she sympathized and agreed to finger print me that night.
She was friendly with my toddler who was pleading to leave and asked him to help spot all of her Halloween decorations in the store. He enjoyed that while she was busy punching in my information on the system. It took about 20 minutes and I was done before they closed. She called me two days later to tell me that there was a way to have billed the requesting company directly instead of charging me that night. I told her it was fine, as I was expected to be charged and was instructed by the requester to save my receipt for reimbursement.
Great service, just got to be more mindful of the time if you want to get fingerprinted here.
Update: So I found out that I should have only been charge the $25 fee and the DOJ/Agency Fee of $47 was supposed to be billed correctly. Sue charged me for the entire amount, $72. The requestor called and spoke to Sue about the issue and they agreed it was incorrect and for me to go in a and a get a refund for the $47. I went there yesterday and Sue was not working. An assistant manager was but she was unable to help me. Said she did not know how to do refunds and Sue didn't leave any instructions. What a nightmare! She's an ASSISTANT manager! The lady did not apologize for her lack of help and did not even bother to attempt any type of resolution (I asked if she could call Sue, could see if she can just do a standard return instead of listing it as a DOJ refund, etc.) she just explained to me that she did not know how, needed manager approval to do a blank refund, and that it would throw off her accounts receivable. Said to come back two days later when Sue would be working. No apologies, nothing. Just indignant attitude. Be warned. Call ahead for any issues and save yourself a trip if the person working...
