Habit Burger & Grill — Restaurant in Hermosa Beach

Food is good . But this particular habit has some work to do with training their staff .

Apart from getting our to go order to dine in . As we waited for our food to get packaged to take out since we had plans to go eat at the beach . They started assisting another costumer who was surprised by their 50/50 fries option that it only had 3 onion rings . As he asks cashier how many onion rings come in a 50/50 and then cashier confirms with cook that indeed it should have 4 rings not 3 customers asked if they can give him an extra ring .

Now this is when I got upset . Cashier comes gets the one rings out of the onion ring order I have placed, that was in counter waiting to get packaged and puts it on his plate .!!!!

And then continues to packaged my order . !!! Luckily we spotted it and stopped it and manager fixed it by giving us a fresh order of onion rings by this time We had spent more time in there and came missed our sunset we had plan to enjoy with food . And food was cold by the time we arrived which is 5 minutes away from habit .

This would not be the option for our next...

My self and a co-worker ordered from this location for lunch on 10/2/2020 I had specifically said No grilled onions and no lettuce, after waiting in the curbside pick up for over 10 minutes after checking in I went in to pick up the food. As I am standing waiting a person comes towards me with what appears to be my order so I say is that for Brendan (co-workers name) and the person said yes I asked for a drink carrier which was provided and I left to go back to the office to eat. I get there Brendan's food is as he order however mine has lettuce all over the outside and onions on both buns and on and in-between the double patty's. So I call and evenyually speak to the manager who claimed the person who brought my food to me said "please check to make sure the food is correct". They never said that and when I asked for a refund I was told I had to do it online which I did and still no refund. I would avoid this place as they lied and still haven't...

First time at a Habit. Ordering from a kiosk shouldn't enquire about a tip. The staff were rude and ignored us, keeping their backs to us as we approached. Needed a spoon for my shake, and there was no communication, just handed a wooden spoon as she acted as if I was bothering her. They didn't put the drink for the kids' meal on the tray and was treated as if I wasn't a customer when asking for it. I'm a polite person, so I appreciate it when that is reciprocated.

That being said, wow. The double char burger was fantastic, fries were the perfect consistency and fresh! My daughter got their chicken nugget kids meal and was happy with it. My wife ordered the bbq chicken salad, she said it was tastey. I also tried the apple pie shake, but couldn't fully appreciate it due to the collapsing paper straw.
