Suit City — Local services in Hickory

I was returning a suit for my brother yesterday (the suit was the wrong color, but I won’t fault them on that since I wasn’t there when it was picked out) and the worker was very rude to me because it was brought back in the wrong bag. I had never been there so I didn’t know it was the wrong bag. Now I’m not upset about this because I get it, it’s the wrong bag. So I told them I would bring the right bag back the next day, the guy proceeded to say “wait, let me check and see what else is wrong first.” Automatically assuming we messed up everything. The suit was returned in great condition, not missing anything, still in my dad’s suit bag. The manager said it was completely fine to bring the bag back the next day, not to worry about it (he was so nice). So today I show up at 10:50, the store opens at 11. I wait until 11:10, the doors were not open, the lights were off, and no one was inside. I had my newborn baby with me and she was fussy and ready to eat, so I had to leave. I call the place once I get to my car and the guy (same as the day before) gets an attitude with me and says we will be charged a late fee!! First of all, how are you going to charge a late fee on a bag that’s poor quality when the suit is returned, and second, how are you going to charge a late fee when I drove 45 min to drop it off and YOU were late opening the doors by 10 minutes and weren’t even there for me to see. We will not be doing business here again due to the horrible customer...

Took my 3 family members here to find matching suits for a wedding. I had been here before & we enjoyed the same great service as before. Went here with my fiancé and son to find the suits for our wedding. The staff was very helpful. The gentleman that helped us made it a very enjoyable shopping experience. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced, Indian guy is rude and definitely doesn’t care about customer satisfaction. We rented the tux on Monday evening and found out the event was canceled on Tuesday evening so we went to Suit City Wednesday Morning and was told the Tux rental can’t be canceled. Even though it wasn’t supposed to be delivered to his store until 7 days from now. No refunds offered, nothing. Just supposed to be out of over $60 (half payment). Glad we didn’t pay the full amount because this jack leg wouldn’t have given it back either. If I could give 0 stars I would. We will...
