I went in to purchase a bike. I thought I’d found something that might like. The color was close to teal blue, and a man’s bike. Then I asked the sales rep if he could give me a hand so I could take a closer look off the bike rack. With a closer I thought the height was perfect, but the sales rep recommended a larger frame. I told him my two concerns were the max weight the frame could support and safety of my crotch. So under his advisement, I spotted the color and design that I wanted. It was not one already build so he had to build it out. I returned the next day to pick it up. I was met at the door with my bike. I thought this was a good purchasing experience until today, 9/8/24. I returned to the store at a different location thinking I be able to exchange my bike and get a different frame size. Only to be informed that there is a 24 hour return policy for returning bikes. This was not posted in the paper work I received. I even purchased a protection plan. Did not hear a return policy then either. It wasn’t listed on my receipt, and I certainly wasn’t told by the sales rep. I feel duped and stuck with a bike I cannot comfortably ride....

Was told I needed to wait for a particular sales associate, while waiting I witnessed several team members walking around with their hands in their pockets, all while I’m making eye contact to ensure they know I’m still waiting and haven’t been helped. Finally an associate who I later found out was the store manager by calling in to make a formal complaint came over and never spoke a kind word to me before asking “What do you want to order?!” How about a simple, “Hello sir how can I help you? OR “I’m sorry about your wait how can I help?” I can’t believe someone has entrusted this young woman who clearly has an attitude problem and hates her life/job to run a store, it’s mind baffling to me. She went on to argue about whether I truly waited 10 minutes or not, who does this? The point is I waited more than I should have and was greeted by someone with a terrible attitude.    Read moreI went to this particular Dick's as a favor for my dad looking for a rod that was on sale. The rod was a KVD rod. I asked one of the store associates if they had this rod, and without looking or even trying to look it up in the system, she just said "no, we don't have the higher priced rods here." I asked her if she was sure, and she said yes. I called to let my dad know it wasn't there, but he said he had seen the rod about 4 days prior, but didn't decide that he wanted it until several days later. He told me where he saw it, and when I actually went to the location in the store once he explained it to me, I saw 4 of the exact rods he wanted. It bothered me that she just didn't even bother to at least help me look for this rod, and then when we notified a different sales associate at the register, she didn't seem to care.
