From an structural aesthetic, this station is an architectural marvel, a wonderful throwback to the classic era of railroad travel, where train stations were not just a place to wait for your train, but also a visual experience as well. In recent decades, the station has undergone several refurbishments and renovations, but has still managed to keep its old school environmental feel. Many of the old signages are still intact, while many necessary updates, both equipmental and structural, have been added. That said, there are still deficiencies that need to be addressed. While the station during the day is for the most part alright, nighttime after the rush hours and on weekends, is a different story. The station is a hangout for homeless and vagrants, and commuters will have to steer clear of the pervasive panhandlers. Security does make rounds, and will drive them off, but rest assured, they will return once security finishes the rounds. Another problem is that in spite of some of the modernization efforts, one glaring deficiency remains; there still is no wheelchair or mobility device accessibility from the platforms to the trains here. Read moreI’m so beyond disappointed and so very angry that in 7/12/25 the last train was supposed to be departed at 9pm ish and I arrived early on time but they messed up the schedule and left me stranded the whole night without having any sleep in the station and next day the next train departed at 4:42am this morning on 7/13/25. I looked at the schedule before I arrived at where I was going this was on 7/12/25. The worst thing I’ve ever experienced was waking up from my sleep, my hand fell asleep and looking through my backpack trying to find my key to unlock my bike and the guy said I have to get off the train and I said ik give me a second and he said SIR YOU HAVE TO GET OFF THE TRAIN!!!! and he threatened to call the cops on me and he said GET YOUR BIKE WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!?! so finally got my keys to unlocked my bike and left the train and I’m so very angry!!!!😡😡😡 That employee was so rude and very unprofessional they need to fire that guy.
