I will not be removing my review. I was present, I saw exactly what happened, and I stand by everything I wrote. Your video footage does not change the fact your handling of the situation was inappropriate and unnecessarily harsh towards the 4 year and 2 year olds. I value children’s safety just as much as you do — but safety does not justify speaking to children in a disrespectful, confrontational manner. At no point did anyone approach me or the other mom directly to calmly discuss concerns. Instead, you chose to speak in a loud and judgmental tone, which created discomfort for everyone involved. Calling my review “misleading” is not only inaccurate, it’s unprofessional. I have every right to share my honest experience, and I will not be silenced or intimidated into removing it.

Not recommending this place at all!!!!!!! We had a really upsetting experience at this indoor playground. My 4-year-old hit the block wall, and a few blocks fell on another child he didn’t see. Instead of calmly addressing the situation, the owner rushed over and snapped at my child, saying, “Hey buddy, you gotta stop.” That kind of reaction is completely inappropriate, especially from someone who works with young kids. If there was a concern, it should have been addressed respectfully with me — not by speaking rudely to a 4-year-old who clearly didn’t mean any harm. Kids at that age still learn boundaries and awareness. You would think the owner should know that given the nature of her business. After this experience, I checked other reviews and saw that multiple people had also mentioned how rude the owner was. Sadly, it seems this kind of behavior is not a one-time issue. We won’t be returning, I hope the owner seriously reconsiders how they interact with both children...
Read moreWhat? Little Play Co in Hoboken. An adorable playcenter in Hoboken, with a huge focus of pretend play. Organised as a miniature village, with a pretend bakery, grocery store, fire truck, pediatrician, builders station and many more! This is a great place for your child to explore pretend play, and even dress up!
Where? 1400 Hudson Street in Hoboken. I’ve gone here twice and got the ferry from Midtown to Hoboken 14 St and from there it’s around a five minute walk. Plus, there’s great views of Manhattan!
When? Open Play is generally available everyday throughout the week, with weekend predominately used for birthday parties (the party room looks incredible by the way)! Hours are updated on their website weekly so be sure to look before you plan your trip!
Cost? $35 for two hours. Sure, a little pricey, albeit an average NYC price for a playspace. But this is totally worth it and will keep your little one super busy. If you’re child loves pretend play, this is a must.
Our Rating? 9/10. A wonderful playspace that I’ll keep visiting. We first came when Darcy had just started practicing to walk, and this time she’s running around. I’d definitely more-so recommend it for the walkers. The only slight negative is the fact that strollers must be kept outside. I’m sure some people would feel uncomfortable about this.
Anything else? The ferry prices are a little shocking! $9 for one-way from Midtown to Hoboken 14 St (a 10 minute ride, if that)!

Read moreThis place is amazing. It’s immaculate and provides hours of entertainment for a little one. My daughter (almost 2) had to be dragged out screaming because she never wanted to leave. The facilities and play area are simply beautiful. I was so impressed that I immediately booked my daughter's birthday party. Don’t hesitate — check it out. And I found the temperature to be quite comfortable, so i have no idea what the previous reviewer is talking about.
Update: It's been 5 years and we recently went to a birthday party here, and it's just as good as it was when had my daughter's party here several years ago. My kids are older now, and still really enjoy the space. I would say the best ages are around 3-5, but my daughter loved it at 2 and still loves it at 7! I recently ran into Tamara, and even though it's been 5 years, she actually remembered my daughter's birthday party and our interactions. I found her...
