JCPenney — Local services in Holyoke

I have gone to JCPenney for Many many yrs~its not the only place I shop. What I love about it is I can be sure of what I'm getting is quality, especially if your a "brand" person. I don't think I've ever had a difficult time returning anything Now I could be wrong after all these decades (yes a long time) but I don't think 🤔 so... I remember my early yrs of catalogue shopping & worried if a certain deep orange shirt would be that color that's in book, & I was so happy to see it was, such a nice shade... of orange, not easy to wear, but I had that shirt... forever! One more thingbecause it happened again last wk I was returning a gift for someone & I had a few minutes to look around... So I did & I found long sleeve COTTON!! brand shirts on sale!!=$12. ea❗ 1st: Yes I'm one of thoz people who 💙 love cotton clothes, and as time goes on it's harder to find; you've got to ✔️ labels. But 80% are only part cotton & rest of it is manmade poly+ester (sisters) materials and make me sweat bc it can't let the extra body heat release LIKE COTTON😍 OKSorry about that, I wanted you to understand why this terrific find meant so much AND ON SALE !! (a Liz shirt12.00) PS I found cotton pj's too😁 So this is why JCPenney will always be a favorite store to me. But I must say that pandemic had made me lazy re: shopping.. you know --Im @ home-- pj's... slippers @6:30 (pm!) & I've got $200+ racked up online (yes JCPenney). It all arrives in days not wks ~ & of course it fits❗

Hi I am not happy with the customer service in the Holyoke store, the men's department. The younger male clerk that works there was very rude to me over the use of the stores coupons. It seems they are no longer allowed to use one of the extra store coupons if you forget yours. Because I am a senior citizen I was made to feel stupid as I was told that their policy had changed and everyone knows that and if I didn't know how to work my phone to download the store app, he would show me. I said not everyone has a smart phone and there were no notices mailed out explaining about the new coupon policy. So in short if you forget to print out the coupons and bring them with you then you are out of luck unless you have a smart phone and have downloaded the JCP app. For the past few months the clerk's at the Holyoke store have been rude and don't want to go look for anything, they say everything we have is all out. I can understand now why JCP might go out of business. I have shopped there for over 45 years and do not need to be treated rudely just because I am a senior citizen. I finally went home and just ordered what I wanted online and used...

I hardly ever shop at JCPenny but found great deals online. When I received my order it was the completely wrong item and it was a huge size. I went into the store to return ir exchange the item. The young lady at the online desk, Tannaliz was friendly and tried her best to help with my order, even with it being close to closing time she helped me exchange the shoes that were incorrectly shipped and even went above to get another team member Emily C. To check if they had the item in stock. They were patient with my order and when they could not find my item they reached out to their manager Crissy to make sure I was still getting the deal if we re-ordered. Crissy was very helpful also. You could see by the way she communicated with her staff that she is a good leader and patient with her team. I have been back a few times to the store and all other team members are very friendly and helpful. Adrianna in the clothing dept also helped me during an in store order and she was very pleasant.
