While on a weekend get-a-way to Honolulu Hawaii, I visited Kings Mini Mart to buy select items to cook in my hotel the weekend of. During my visit, I was a little disappointed in many of their prices, so I just stuck with purchasing simple junk food items to eat throughout the day, but went elsewhere to buy groceries to last me during the weekend.
To give you an idea of what their prices are, try imagining a loaf of bread for $3.29! Yes! Typical tourist prices if you ask me, but I recommend shopping at 'Food Pantry Waikiki Kuhio' which sits off of Kuhio & Walina if you wish to buy groceries whether your stay is long or short on island. Someone that may have never experienced lower prices may be accustomed to these prices, but they are a little too expensive for me.
Other than for grocery foods, Kings Mini Mart is an ideal place for nicotine products, and alcohol if you are staying in the area or maybe even just club hopping on Kuhio Ave. Take everything in consideration, and I hope this review assists you in any...
