Found waikiki boat charters via Google search. I called and inquired about the ash scattering package with Andres. He was able to give me all the information I needed and answer all my questions. Booking was very easy and there after with Devon was seamless. I had to make Changes to the original date and time which was not an issue issue. Devon was always extremely cordial via email and replied promptly. On the day of our ash scattering for dad, Captain Wes greeted us at the pier. You can really tell that they have great experience with handling these types of sensitive family situations. Captain Wes was respectful, compassionate, informative, and very gracious throughout our one hour cruise. Our family had a beautiful ceremony for dad and could not have imagined a better way to send him off. Overall, we could not have had a more special way to see dad off and Waikiki boat charters really did a great job with everything. The cruise took about 50 minutes in total time. After the cruise, a couple days after we were sent a memorial certificate that included the exact location of where dad was placed. It was an extremely thoughtful and meaningful memorabilia. STOP SEARCHING AND BOOK THIS EXPERIENCE! I highly recommend booking the Hokalani vessel, it was probably the highlight of our family vacation. Let me first start with the experience I received from the booking processes to the actual tour- they were able to answer all my questions and they were able to accommodate 15 people with toddlers for a private snorkeling and sailing tour. The staff and the captain were all very personable and genuinely cared about us having a great time. Right when we arrived they gave the VIP treatment and welcomed us in with traditional beautiful Hawaiian leis. They then took all our bags with our drinks and put it all in the coolers and right away began helping us with drinks or any questions we had. The two staff were exceptional they showed 14 people who have never snorkeled before how to snorkel and even made dolphins jump out of the water for us. We saw turtles, many beautiful fishes and reefs, it was epic! The staff were exceptional! The water bed they lay out in the ocean is amazing especially for kids, they were able to lay there and snorkel without any worries for those who can’t swim. Overall, it is totally worth the cost and once you finish with your tour they dock back into a area full of food trucks just steps away, We ended up eating there after. There is a lot to say here but I'll keep it down to a short story. I went looking for a company that would help with Ash scattering in Honolulu for the time I was out to visit this month. I sent out notifications to various Charter companies n although I heard from quite a few that could do it, none had the most affordable package as this company had. Andres, who was the first point of contact was kind n gracious n after Captain Ken Middleton reached out to me and was very kind and helped me with what I wanted to do. I spoke with Devin their office guest service agent, who graciously took my calls whenever I had a question and handled the contract for the charter. She was the best! We were supposed to have a sailing yet, but the weather wasn't going to permit it so they upgraded me at no charge to their larger catamaran. The Voyage there along with Captain West and first mate Josh who both were awesome and informative and respectful when the ceremony took place, I appreciate all that they did to make this trip comfortable.
