Bazille at Nordstrom — Restaurant in Houston

It was a delightful experience all around. The atmosphere is perfect. A very nice building a quick elevator or escalator ride and you are at the restaurant. We got an amazing charming greeting! We were seated and quickly served! We had a very friendly lady. She got our drinks immediately! We took a bit too decided on our dishes, yet she was always available to answer any questions. I order the Wild Salmon with Saffron Couscous. It was delicious and had amazing flavors that perfectly complemented each other. As a spilt item we elected for the special parmesan fries served with the amazing truffle dip! It had the perfect balance of having a good strong truffle flavor without being overwhelming. The fries themselves were excellent. My cousin ordered the Spicy Wild Shrimp Pomodoro. She was extremely happy with her choice. The only thing she said is she wish she could eat more, unfortunately we didn’t take any leftovers as we were traveling. The waitress came over with the bill and once found out we were traveling back home to Pensacola, Florida she mentioned how she was excited for her upcoming trip, and how she was looking for a Airbnb here. It was an amazing customer service, I’ve only ever gotten this from places I regular. I really thought my experience here would be better and that I could be a regular customer but I will never come back. I work in the mall and only have a 30min break I placed an order 15 minutes before my break so it would be ready by the time I got there. Once I got there the entire restaurant was empty, my food was ready and I assumed I could sit there and eat but the host told me I wasn’t allowed to sit in the EMPTY restaurant, because my order was to go. I even told him I worked at the mall and had only 30 minutes to eat and that I spent most of my time just walking to their store. He still didn’t let me sit for the remaining 15min of my break. Once I opened my food it ended up being a crispy chicken sandwich instead of the blackened sandwich they have on their menu. If you work at the galleria mall this is not the place to go...

I love Bazille. Its one of my go-to restaurants for lunch and SO FAR they have yet to disappoint and Ive been to several. I visited this one in particular about a week ago. I had the pizza with prosciutto & arugula and it was so good. They were going to add the prosciutto after the pizza was done but I requested the prosciutto be baked on with the pizza. It brought more flavor out. I couldnt leave without having the bread pudding. It taste so good just writing about it now makes me want a piece. I love the raspberry sauce they use to complement the dessert. I shared with my mother but I couldve almost eaten it all by myself.
