Jo Malone London — Local services in Houston

I Went on Sunday 11/19 with my friend, there were 2 employees a young male And a older female. The young men was occupied helping other customers. While there was a lady just standing doing nothing not even greeted us or approached us. We had to initiate and approach her by asking her a question about the fragrances and her answers were so simple and nodding her head. she didn’t even offer to help or gave us samples to smell or try to sell us her product. she just didn’t seem to want to communicate or engage with us or help us. Her body language made us feel uncomfortable and voice tone was bland Made us feel very looked down at. I myself find it rude as I worked in retail before. Never look down on anyone even if we don’t look like we have money or for not wearing designer.

I could tell that young man was having an engaging conversation with his customers and talking with open ended questions and And selling his product and offering them samples to smell and being polite. Nothing compared to our experience with the lady.

We were just out looking. However, we had been and several stores and the customer interaction was horrible. We went into Jo Malone and as soon as we stepped in we were greeted by both salesman. Luis came over to introduce himself and started asking questions to guide us to the right fragrance. We could not decide. He offer us samples put them and a little cute box and said use them and then come back when we fall in love with one of the fragrances. We left and went to a few other stores. After, receiving bad customer service we decided to go back to Jo Malone and purchase from Luis. It was not the fragrance we went back but the fragrance was great. However, LUIS was a deciding factor for us to purchase there. Thank you LUIS, for such great customer service. We will be back soon for that candle. DIANNA, loves her...

Rude stuff, very snobby absolutely appalling. Bad image for Joe Malone overheard one of the system to be quite rude and snappy to a guy who is smelling diffusers to tell him rather than pull out the sticks. Could you pick it off the shelf because it might break absolutely appalling. The rude the way she spoke to him the arrogance of her she thought she was amazing and so good at her job. If I was Joe Malone, I’d be very seriously considering why I have people like this representing my brand.
