We used to frequent Mamaka a lot when it first came out. It was a great acai bowl reminiscent of what you would get on vacation. Unfortunately, the quality has declined a lot. The atmosphere has a charm to it, very "I just came from yoga or spin class vibe." On a nice day, you can eat on the patio and have a pleasant meal. That's if you can find a spot to park. It also doesn't help when you hear the staff having to yell names and orders over the sound of intense whirring and crunching from the blenders and music. As far as quality of the bowls, it's hit or miss. The factors depend on who is making the bowl. Also, if you order more than one of the same item, don't expect them to come out at the same time and don't expect them to look or taste the same. Different people make each item so quality will vary based on who is making it. We've ordered two mamaka bowls on several occasions for them to come out at different times with different colors. As far as service... well the staff are lovely people, but the app no longer works. I once ordered from home went in at the expected time, no order ready, waited an additional 20 minutes and realized they never received my order. Okay I can't wait anymore, no worries, my bad. I tried again another day. This time I did NOT order through their website, I ordered through the Toast app and I received a confirmation email, order placed 8:10, order ready at 8:40. Great! I arrive at 8:45, they never received it. Okay they said they'll make my order now. I wait until 9:20, still not ready. I can't wait anymore, I wouldn't want it anyway, it wouldn't taste good after that type of service, so I leave with no food in hand. It shouldn't take over an hour for an acai bowl. My personal opinion, go try them out if you have time. Most of the time, the food is decent. Do NOT order online, it's not reliable. Order in-person and wear earplugs. The decibels in the shop can definitely damage your hearing. For the owners, maybe fix the website since you know it's an issue and give your staff some...
Read moreI cannot say enough about Mamaka Bowls! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by the most friendly, kind, and professional young crew I have ever encountered. As an entrepreneur and nonprofit CEO/founder, seeing this generation display such warmth, respect, and excellent customer service truly warms my heart and gives me hope for humanity.
The staff here are incredible — they take their time, treat every customer with genuine kindness, and create an atmosphere that is nothing short of beautiful. You can feel the love and energy they put into every bowl they make.
And the bowls themselves? Absolutely stunning! The presentation is gorgeous, and the taste is by far the best I have ever had in my life. Their granola is so amazing — the perfect blend of sweet and salty — that I now purchase it instead of any store-bought brand. It’s truly the sweet and salty magic that sets it apart!
Mamaka Bowls has even become a special place for my daughter and me to spend our mother-daughter dates. Every visit is a full experience — from the flavor to the atmosphere to the people.
We once tried another place, Rush Bowls, but honestly, there is no comparison. Needless to say, we never went back. Mamaka Bowls stole our hearts, and it’s where we’ll continue to go.
I genuinely pray the owner knows just how blessed they are to have such a wonderful group of young adults representing their brand. Their positive attitudes, beautiful energy, and dedication shine through in every part of the experience.
Thank you, Mamaka Bowls, for being such a shining light — you are truly...

i like how they have different sizes for the bowl instead of one giant one. staffs are friendly and efficient, altho the waiting time might differ. lots of outdoor seating and they have colorful swing sets too!
i got maui bowl and for the most part it was good, but i did see something that taste bitter, idk if it was mango, apple or celery.. once everything melted, it tasted like medicine.
and while they have lots of selections on the menu, the ingredients all look very similar. i think i might just make my own bowl next time. honey is self-service. they have coffee too like latte and stuff.
