Had to literally use my friends account to write this review because I’m not the type to ever write reviews but when I tell you guys I had THE WORST experience ever here. It was my first time coming, got a text saying arrive early so we can meet the instructor & view the studio, great. I get there 10 minutes early to check in. I had to Uber from my yoga class to the studio because my car had an issue. Wasted $ to get here. Booked my class A MONTH in advance. Also, I did book a class here before which they on their hand did cancel but I just assumed it was a glitch. Soon as I say my last name, I have a very ethnic last name, the guy can’t find my name. I’m showing him my screen WHICH SHOWS MY EMAIL AND VERIFICATION! He’s super rude, dismissive and racist. It was all predominately one race in there so I’m assuming this was a colorism issue. He continues to be SO unhelpful. Didn’t offer a refund or maybe a different class or ANYTHING. I’ve worked in a service job for years and I always accommodate to customers. I also paid in advance and he just acted as if I came up there out of the blue. He claimed he can’t kick someone out for me which I did not ask. I simply deserved a spot just as much as anybody else did because I paid the fee for my spot. That’s literally unfair. Not only was he not helpful at all he was being super mean, I’m not a confrontational person but frankly, I’m tired of being treated differently being a young brown woman. We all rightfully deserve a spot if we are paying for it. I asked for a manager so I can at least get a refund and there was not even a manager which is insane. What kind of place doesn’t have a manager on site or someone higher up to help. This little boy offered me a waitlist, why would I join a waitlist for a class that’s in 10 minutes. At this point you’re just disrespecting me. I work really hard and wanted to enjoy my one day off but the energy in this studio was horrendous. Also, may I add, they canceled my reservation after I walked out after he said “I can come see the screen if I think he’s lying about my name not being there” so clearly you guys just did not want me in your studio for whatever reason. I’ll add pictures for proof. But anyways, I am assuming Muslims aren’t allowed in their studio. Would not...
Read moreI just completed the one month unlimited class special for new members and it's such a good deal to experience both studios!
The staff at StudioBe are incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. From the moment I walked in, I felt like a valued member of the community. Their dedication to creating a supportive and inclusive environment truly shines through.
Now, onto the classes – the Sculpt, Reformer Pilates and Yoga sessions have been nothing short of exceptional. The instructors are top-notch, guiding us through each movement with precision and care. Whether you're a beginner or more advanced, they tailor the sessions to suit everyone's needs, ensuring a challenging yet rewarding experience every time.
Not only do they provide fantastic workouts, but they also emphasize mindfulness and self-care throughout each class. It's a refreshing approach that leaves me feeling rejuvenated both mentally and physically after every session. My knee pain has also significantly reduced since I've been doing their classes!
The studio itself is clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, creating a serene atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. Plus, the variety of class times and options make it easy to fit into my schedule.
Overall, I can't recommend StudioBe enough to anyone looking to elevate their Pilates and Yoga practice. Claire for Reformer Pilates + Reim for Yoga + Patricia for Sculpt have been my go-tos but everyone else is great as well! I'm grateful to have found such a gem in the Houston and look forward to continuing my journey...
Read moreResponse to owner: I have attended multiple classes through classpass that is attached to my Gmail account used to create this review. If you read the reviews of this studio on classpass you will find they bury the bad reviews of this particular instructor. I would love for you to reach out as I really wanted to like this class and buy an unlimited membership but cannot justify it with instruction like this and a lack of clarity on their official certifications. Thank you!
This was the worst Pilates class I’ve ever taken. The instructor (Celeste) offers no modifications, doesn’t assess experience levels, and lacks proper cueing—often using incorrect or even unsafe terminology. She remains on a reformer in the back row, making it impossible to see proper form, and she doesn’t monitor students, which is especially concerning for beginners. The class structure was poorly planned; The space is overcrowded, forcing awkward and misaligned movements. As someone who is hypermobile, I had to modify extensively, but for those unfamiliar with proper form, this class could lead to injury—I left with a sore lower back. They also do not offer any adjustments for height or injury. It’s unclear if the instructor is properly certified, and based on other filtered reviews, I question the qualifications of the entire studio. Avoid if you value safe and effective...
