RibCrib BBQ — Restaurant in Hutchinson

The saving grace for this restaurant was the delicious food. First time going to this chain and was very impressed with the pulled pork sandwich, however the chips and salsa left a lot to be desired but those were free for happy hour so ok. But the customer service. Horrible! We weren't greeted upon entering and the hostess and a waitress were talking amongst themselves and then the waitress told the hostess to go do something for her and she'd seat us. There were 5 of us and she asked if we wanted a booth, well obviously that's a tight squeeze so we opted for a table. Horrible choice it was because the only one large enough apparently was dirty and had go be cleaned. We stood there for at least 10 minutes waiting and then the hostess finally realized that the waitress had cleaned it but never actually sat us. Once we were seated and ordered, the waitress forgot my husband's drink and also the chips and salsa. The food seemed to take a long time considering how early in the evening it was (4:00) and how light the tables were. The people that brought the food out were the nicest ones there! Then the same first waitress walked by and knocked over table that one of the legs was broken on and it made the loudest noise! She didn't apologize and just picked it up as well as the sauces and walked off. You could clearly see the leg broken so I really hope they don't seat people there, not only could it be dangerous to someone leaning on it for support, but the plates could go all over the floor. The sauces she knocked over spilled all over the carpet and she didn't clean the mess up and it was still there when we left. I won't be going back to this particular one but I will try...

We have been to Rib Crib twice, After winning a $60 certificate to the restaurant during a Christmas party.

I had never been. Both experiences were fantastic! The meat was tender, lean, and moist. The Smoky baked beans were fantastic!

We went a second time, and took our youngest daughter. She's a very picky eater, at 7 years of age. We ordered a kid's meal, and I got the lunch special... two Meats and a side. Of course, this includes the toast and a pickle spear as well! It's a lot of food for the price.

My daughter got the corn dog kid's meal. The corn dog was a foot-long! She wasn't too pleased with her macaroni as a side, and the corn dog was intimidating.

She asked if we would trade plates. I hadn't sauced any of my meat yet (it's good even without it) and I traded plates with her. This little girl, who would typically turn her nose up at something like shredded brisket or pork, chowed down. She loved it!

We will probably share a plate next time we come in! I was so happy to see her eating something new! And of course the Bendy toys where a fun addition to the kid's meal, vs some cheap plastic novelty that will get lost or broken in a few days.

I don't leave negative reviews but my spouse and my daughter's family had a bad experience here. We spent a little over two hours here mainly waiting on food. Everyone got their food first then my granddaughter and I were told they were out of spuds (that is what we ordered). They said they had to bake more. They should have told us that earlier. My spouse and my son in laws plates were cold and my husband was missing a food item. My husband was so upset about the whole experience he couldn't finish his food. Our server never cleared away the appetizer plates so our table was crowded. We did get our meal discounted after my spouse talked to the gm. She did mention they were short staffed but from the looks of it, I don't know if that was the case or just poor management. After looking at the.bill, we were also overcharged for a couple of items.
