I had looked at several items online, then drove an hour to go shopping at the store. I wanted to see them, feel the fabric and try a few different sizes on to know which fit best before purchasing. After getting a huge pile of clothes I went and found a sales lady who was folding clothes. She informed me the fitting rooms were closed. I told her I'm sorry but I live an hour from here so it's not easy to pre-pay for items I don't even know I want just to take them home and try them on. She told me without a smile that it's corporate policy. I then asked her if I would even be able to return the items then, if they didn't fit? She said yes, there's a 90 day return policy. I was obviously upset about the corporate policy and what is the point of shopping locally and at a retail store when they don't let you try the items on. She then went off to tell me that it's just the new normal and the whole mall is doing it and that I just basically need to accept it. What this sales lady doesn't understand is that accepting this and making this the new normal is going to kill the retail business and she will be without a job shortly. And, she's just going along with it and almost irritated at me because I wasn't. What's the point of having closed fitting rooms if we can just go use the same size stall in the public restroom down the hall at the mall to try on the items? It's a big joke and a waste of...
Read moreEDIT: Since there are several reviews about this same manager, IF you have issues with this store, DEFINITELY call into customer service to create a report. They told me they want to know about these experiences with store staff and are so helpful.
I used to really like coming here but I do not like who I assume is the manager there. She is always up front and has always been the most unpleasant person to work with in the store. From returns to coupons. This last time I mistakenly forgot to hand her one of my coupons and I said “oh I’m sorry I forgot to hand you this coupon” and she scoffed at me and said “I can try but no guarantees” and I said “you know what don’t worry about it” because apparently I was an inconvenience to her at that point. She just handed me my coupon back and my bag and didn’t even say thank you for coming in or anything. Oh and forget getting greeted by employees anymore hasn’t happened the last few times...
Read moreI went into the store today for the semi annual sale. The store opened at 11 and we walked in probably two minutes after that.
I got fitted for a bra size and started trying some of them on from the bins. The lady that helped me with that was patient and great. I found one and when I went to go buy it, it turns out it wasn’t part of the sale. As a manager, she told us it wasn’t part of the sale and it had no redline on it. We had let her know it was in the bins for the semi annual sale and asked if she would honor it. She would not budge and was very rude the whole experience like she was talking to a child.
Everyone that works at Victoria secret is always so sweet , other than the manager, Kathy. And as I’ve seen , a lot of other people have the same experience.
As a customer, knowing the store had just opened, I think it was her job to have everything in order and not expect the customer to know what’s on sale...
