ALDI — Local services in Jackson Township

Typical Aldi's store. We were there in the middle of a work day and the store was quite busy. With Aldi you have to know typical prices for items. And beware-- low price doesn't necessarily mean it's a good price as you may well be able to get the items at a dollar store or at Marc's much cheaper. That being said there are quite a few Aldi brand foods that are not only BETTER tasting than the National brand but are also cheaper. Frozen items like boneless chicken breast patties are one such item. Aldi offers two types of frozen precooked sausage patties. One is maple flavored which has a good taste albeit a bit too sweet for my taste. The other sausage patty has a "sage"-style seasoning. Both patties cook easily in a microwave. They are on the thin side, but this is a plus if using in a sandwich. Overall with Aldi's know prices and check for flaws in workmanship. Produce is generally a good buy. Food is good and at great prices. However.. the staff was terrible. Employees were rude. I was trying to grab something off the shelf and employees were cutting in front of me to stock the shelves. Multiple times. The cashier should not have a job. The most rude person I’ve ever been in contact with in my life. Scanning my items and literally throwing them into my cart. I even purchased bags. I had to bag my food in the parking lot. 3 of my items were damaged because of the incompetent employee. I was mind blown on the checkout procedure by the employee. Everyone in the line behind me was in shock too. When I asked her to take the items off my bill that she had damaged she got annoyed and snippy. I’m not sure where you’re finding your employees... but that cashier should not...
