At 8:50pm tonight (1/24) My mom and I were standing in line to be checked out with our items. It was a decent line of customers and only one associate was working the register. The associate name is Chrystal. She kindly asked multiple people at the front to help her with bagging/ helping customers. The manager on duty up front replied with and I quote, “ you are on your own and I don’t know what to tell you”. He said this loudly in front of employees and customers..Because no employees decided to help her customer helped her by bagging their own items. After seeing how the manager on shift treated Chrystal, my family and I will no longer shop at this Ollie’s. A manager is suppose to lead and help when needed. Not leave his employees hanging. Chrystal handled the end of the shift beautifully. She handle the situation with grace and worked so hard when the rest of employees were not working. Ollie’s is very lucky to have such a hard working employee...

I think this is 1 of the CLEANEST Ollie's I have been in, in a while & the selection was really good too! The best place to buy books cheap, their book section is huge & so is the selection. The kids selection on books is amazing & it fits a wide range of ages starting at birth & u can't beat the price so stop in, look around & browse with your child & spoil them with some books or toys. The art/school/office section also has a good selection and CHEAP!!! If u can't tell Ollie's is my #1 favorite store to shop at in the way of discount stores, u never know what you're going to find here. The seasonal section is always a surprise waiting to shop, u never know what you're going to find, like today I found an amazing beach chair you can carry on your back & it has a pouch!!! We were excited to shop at the new Ollie's in The Belden Village Area of Canton Ohio. It did not dissappoint. The store is large and spacious, very clean and definitely had Great stuff at a great price! Although I could not find a few items in the add due to not being put out yet, I found plenty of other unexpected fun items! In all fairness, like most businesses these days they are understaffed due to lack of people wanting to work!!! The staff there could not have been any more helpful, pleasant and working hard to get stock out from the backroom. Can't wait to go back soon to see what other must haves They get in!!
