There's nothing JHC recommended that I couldn't have found with a quick Google search. Absolutely NO value was added in my dealings with JHC. In fact, it was more of a pain working with Bridget than simply doing it myself.
For starters, I was told JHC could book a spa treatment for us at ANY Jackson Hole Spa. Despite telling me this, she kept pushing an at-home massage for us. But with 4 kids, 2 under the age of 5, at the house, that would have been a terribly unrelaxing massage session for the 4 ladies getting a treatment. So, we opted for The Rusty Parrot. I'm guessing this was a "non-preferred" spa (AKA one that she didn't get kickbacks on) because I was suddenly informed it would be $50 to have her book it for us. So, I did it myself.
As far as restaurants, no help there either. She sent me a list of restaurants - something I could have Googled myself. I was told she "doesn't book" restaurant reservations (Again, probably no money in it for her). I thought for sure she'd have insight into what restaurants would be open or closed Christmas day. Nope, no idea. Once again, the research and booking was my responsibility.
One of a few things she did set up herself was our ski rentals. This company, Ski Butlers, was as inept as they come. They were supposed to arrive within a certain time on the day we got to JH. The window for arrival was closing, so I called. Turns out, they had our reservation down for the next day. No word on that being a Bridget or a Ski Butler screwup. Additionally, there was an issue with ski pickup. But the biggest catastrophe was my 4 year old niece's skis. When she went to ski school on the first day, the instructors were appalled at the fitting. They said whoever fitted her must have been blind. Exact words. They weren't even skiable. They were so bad that they were returned to Ski Butler and the ski school arranged for rentals elsewhere. All this took place after we'd dropped her off. At pickup, we were told that Ski Butler said they'd be refunding us. We said great, and didn't think anything of it until the day we were leaving.
On the day we were leaving we were informed of an additional charge for skis - the number of days weren't calculated correctly, or some nonsense. Bridget had either told them the wrong number of days, Ski Butler got confused or a (likely) combination of both. At this point, I picked up the phone to talk with Bridget about the additional charge and to confirm we weren't also being charged for my niece's skis that were returned. Up until this point we'd spoken only via email. Her email communication, which had been curt and unfriendly, stayed consistent on the phone. She gave a word salad explanation on why we owed for extra ski days, but I was assured we still owed it. Fine, whatever. And she was (shocker!) also not aware of my niece's skis being returned. She said that something like that a) should never have happened and b) should have been communicated to her by Ski Butler. I agreed on both points, but her tone was accusitory towards ME. She said she'd "look into it" and get back with me. Well, a little while later I get an email that, in short, called me a liar. She'd spoken to Ski Butler and this didn't happen.
I never responded to her email because it was clearly a he-said, she-said situation that I wasn't going to win. Moreover, I was done dealing with her. So, we got to pay for an additional set of skis for my niece - a set she didn't even use.
For anyone considering using her or her company, I'd urge you to save time and a headache by using Google. You'll be booking most everything on...
Read moreJackson Hole Concierge was absolutely the best partner for our trip to Wyoming. Bridget saved our vacation before it started. I contacted her to book a number of excursions for early May 2025. She informed me that I was too early and that there could be road closures, too much snow, or National Parks that were not going to be open. I was so happy that she redirected our vacation to June!
Bridget booked 2 all day tours for us to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. They were fabulous. We were able to see amazing sites that included natural wonders and diverse animals. The guide that she picked (Kyle) was top notch. He was able to locate the best spots to see buffalo, elk, wolves, bears and more. It was amazing.
Bridget also booked a rafting trip and horseback riding for us. Both of those exceeded our expectations. We were quite impressed with the tours and the guides for both of these trips. They were great.
Bridget really understood that we were first time visitors and needed help. She stepped in and provided the superior level of service that we needed. She communicated effectively over the course of the planning and the vacation itself as well. Her attention to detail is exemplified by the fact that she packaged all of our excursions into an app (Axus) that we could reference. That was so helpful as we had 3 couples who could stay informed.
Her attention to detail is awesome. She was able to give us super recommendations for the best restaurants in town. She also provided a list of every restaurant in Jackson and nearby plus what made them special. She also recommended an evening at Jackson Hole Playhouse Dinner Theatre. We had a blast.
Here is the bottom line... If you are going to Jackson Hole for the first or any time, you need to contact Jackson Hole Concierge for all your travel needs. Bridget Brennan will provide you with an...
Read moreI had a perfectly fine experience booking a couple of excursions through this company for our upcoming trip, but unfortunately the flooding in Yellowstone caused us to change our travel plans and push our trip to next year. Obviously this was out of our control, but when I reached out to Bridget to ask if I could use a credit toward the same activities for next year or if there was any flexibility in the cancellation fee (20%) given the circumstances, she said there was nothing she could do. So I agreed to pay the cancellation fee. The next day (a Thursday) I left on a business trip and she proceeded to send me MUTIPLE emails asking for payment. I was traveling, so planned to address it Monday when I returned to the office. I got sidetracked with work after being out for a few days, and by Tuesday I had received MORE emails from her including a VERY nasty note accusing me of giving her incorrect credit card info or cancelling my card to avoid paying her. I never gave her ANY credit card info that I recall, and certainly did not intentionally give her incorrect info or cancel any of my cards. She threatened to hand this over to a COLLECTION AGENCY if I did not pay immediately. This was LESS THAN A WEEK after she sent me the invoice. Everyone else that I reached out to about changing or cancelling plans for this trip was extremely flexible and accommodating, given the circumstance. She was not only inflexible, but she was incredibly RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. I paid her the cancellation fee (as I had always intended to do), but I would NOT recommend working with...
