I don't write a bunch of reviews on Google, but I had to come on here to RAVE about The Parkway Inn. Two of us came out to Jackson Hole for a 4 day/4 night stay with the sole purpose of snowboarding JHRM for 3 days total. Everything about The Parkway Inn was great!! We arrived early, and our room was ready. We flew from Florida, so we wanted to shower and see the town ASAP. Our room was a 1 bedroom King Suite with living room, King Bedroom, Outdoor balcony, small kitchen and 2 full bathrooms. It even had a full sofa w lounge chair and Murphy bed in the living room. All of the staff were beyond gracious and nice. The property is very clean and has ample free parking. We loved the free Starbucks coffee served in the lobby every day. We ate dinner at The Local our first night there, then when right back to our room and changed into our swimsuits so we could soak in the hot tub. There's a full gym, two saunas, two very nice hot tubs and a heated pool right behind the main building. When I'm on a snowboarding trip, hot tubs are paramount for me!! Theirs delivered!! We were there for peak ski season and we had one of the two hot tubs to ourselves for 3 of the 4 nights. We met a really cool couple from Mississippi one of the nights and chatted with them for an hour or so. The bus system in Jackson is great. You really don't need to rent a car but we elected to, so we could see some additional sights. You can walk anywhere in town, and JHRM is an easy 15 minute drive from the hotel. The king bed was extremely comfortable and all towels, linens, etc were Sublime. We had our room turned twice while we were out and they did an excellent job. The water pressure in the shower is powerful which I love. The pool and hot tubs are open from 10am-10pm and there are plenty of extra towels there. There were two smart TV's with cable and all of the apps, so we watched Landman each night before bed. Anything we requested was brought right to us. I think our rate was $260/night. For the room we got, that's an absolute steal for a ski town. The bus stop is right across the street and will take you just about anywhere. Everything ski in/ski out in Teton Village was at least twice the price. I'd stay here again in a New York minute. Our room number was 201 and it was outstanding. Views for miles. Thank you to everyone at The Parkway Inn!! We will definitely be back sooner than later. You guys are...
Read moreI strongly advise against staying here. Based on my experience, the hotel’s website does not accurately represent the actual property, which consists of a converted apartment complex and a separate house. The “boutique hotel” description is misleading, and the prices are very high for what you actually get. I found the pictures of the facilities/rooms to also be misleading. The location is across from a park that, during my stay, had individuals whose presence made me uncomfortable, especially at night.
When I expressed my concerns about the misleading online representation, my reservation was canceled, and my payment was not refunded. It felt like a strategy to deny any record of my stay. This experience made me feel that the management might rely on visitors being too busy or not local enough to contest these practices effectively. In my case, they retained the full amount paid for several nights in one of their most expensive rooms.
Additionally, I was told I was being disruptive and was banned from the premises, which prevented me from taking any pictures inside. Throughout my interactions with the employees (and their manager via phone), they advised to file an insurance claim to recover my money, which seemed like a way to avoid direct refunds.
Be cautious of their overly positive reviews as they may not reflect genuine customer experiences. If you decide to stay here, I suggest taking the following precautions:
Politely request a refund if you feel misled, and document all conversations. Take photos of the exterior and interior (if possible). Keep all booking and payment information. Dispute charges with your credit card company promptly, providing any necessary evidence. Bring a witness for support and verification. Remember, you are entitled to a refund if the services provided do not match what was advertised, regardless of the hotel’s refund policies.
Consumer protection laws exist to prevent businesses from charging for unreceived or misrepresented services. While these laws can be a strong defense, it’s better to avoid staying at places where you might need to...
Read moreI'd like to first point out that my wife has stayed here multiple times over the years and highly recommended it. My experience for a first time stay was different. Granted there are things that the hotel has control over and can fix, but reviews are all based on our personal experience right? Checking in - The staff was great. We arrived a little early and left our bags with them. Once the room was ready they delivered our bags and called to let us know the room was ready.
Night 1: Either a cab or maybe they drove, but a couple that were staying in the room next to us were wasted drunk. She kept yelling out A-hole very loud and I easily heard that he got so drunk he passed out at the bar, but she was yelling at him to get out of the car. Then he fell down getting into the room. She proceeded to yell at him in the room until about 1am. Couldn't hear him, but she was pretty vocal about the situation. Then about 5am, she was throwing up in the bathroom for at least 30 min.
Night 2: The neighbor on the other side turned on his television and cranked the volume. It was vibrating our room, the people on the other side knocked on both the interior door and exterior door with no response, so they called the police. I talked with the officer at around 2:45am and they were in contact with the night manager. Then the TV was silent so I guess they either helped him turn it off or he did it on his own.
Night 3: Found a bug on our sheet. We thought bedbugs were smaller than this so we killed it and somewhat dismissed it that night. In the morning we were waiting for our cab to the airport and saw pest control show up and entered the building.
I was considering not posting this review, but after my wife was bit four times, and I reached out via their website to get a managers email with no response, here we are. Let's talk Pros: Walking distance to the shops etc a few blocks up was convenient, across the street from the bus stop area for the airport and the express to the mtn is great. The rooms are nice and it was clean, the staff was nice. Great value, but I guess you get what...
