Visiting the Elk Antler Arch in Jackson Hole was an unforgettable experience. This iconic landmark, artistically crafted from naturally shed elk antlers, stands as a majestic gateway to the town square, encapsulating the spirit and beauty of the surrounding wilderness. The craftsmanship is remarkable, and the scale of the arch is truly awe-inspiring, providing a perfect backdrop for photos and a tangible connection to the area's rich wildlife heritage.

The atmosphere around the arch is vibrant and welcoming, with the lively buzz of visitors and locals alike admiring this unique piece of art. It's a testament to Jackson Hole's commitment to preserving and celebrating its natural and cultural history. Whether you're strolling through the town square, shopping at the local boutiques, or enjoying a meal at one of the nearby cafes, the Elk Antler Arch adds a sense of wonder and charm to the entire experience.

For anyone visiting Jackson Hole, this landmark is a must-see. It's not just an arch; it's a symbol of the community's connection to nature and the wild spirit of the West. I highly recommend taking the time to visit and experience the magic of the Elk Antler Arch for yourself. It's an experience that encapsulates the beauty and grandeur of Jackson Hole and leaves you with...

Jackson Town Square has four elk antler arches, one in each corner, the first being erected in 1953, by the then Rotary Club. It was a huge surprise hit for them, so they started to plan for arches on the other three corners of the Square. All four arches were completed in 1969, with “shed” antlers being harvested from the National Elk Refuge. The arches that stand on the corners now are the second rebuild, since the bone antlers need periodic replacing. Antlers are interwoven around a steel frame and secured as needed. Each arch has approximately 2,000 complete antlers, weighing in at between 10,000 to 20,000 pounds. The Southwest Arch is the most popular for photographs, so if one wants a less crowded view, try one of the others, as I did. There was absolutely no place to park on this very crowded day, so I had to get out, while someone else kept the car moving. I took two photos, one of the crowd at the SW Arch, and one at the NW Arch, where...

These elk antler arches are iconic. At this point, you'd be hard pressed to find someone who has seen or heard of them. Conveniently located in the Jackson town square and next to impossible to miss, four large antler arches span each corner. Having four arches really cuts down the time you may have to wait in order to get that coveted "selfie under the arch". Another benefit of having 4 arches is the increased opportunity to get a picture with optimal lighting, whatever time of day you find...

Meh - nice park on a sunny spring day as long as u go into it knowing full well the extent of this tourist destination. I was hoping for more of an old time vibe but basically just another tourist trap. So if u r good with that, there r lots of bougie shops, creameries, bars, souvenirs, etc. There r antler arches in all four corners of the park and everyone is lining up to get their picture taken - lol guess I forgot to get mine 😬

There was a festival think going on till noon when we got there. Like a farmers market with live music. The square itself supposedly no dog or smoking allowed but both were common to see. Lots of benches in the park though while we were there people were using most of them for their stuff and standing around them protecting them. It was very odd. Arches at each of the 4 entrances. Also horse carriage rides.
